Pretty Good just needs updating

My family stayed here for almost a week, from Sunday - Friday and we really enjoyed our stay overall. There were a few things broken when we got there, though such as: Lamp in master BR, lamp in the livingroom, master BR balcony door wouldn’t lock, and the 2nd King BR TV would not work. In the room that the bunk beds are in there is no TV nor ceiling light, just a lamp. While we were here the pool was also closed and we were not informed until the day of our arrival. I know the pool being closed is not the hosts fault by any means but I wish we could’ve been informed prior to the date of our arrival. I had seen comments about the elevators and parking so I was worried BUT the elevators are just as fast as any elevators I’ve ever used. They were both working fine. The parking is a different story…. If you want to park INSIDE the parking deck GOOD LUCK unless you have a small car. There are several other places to park outside of the parking deck or up the ramps going to different levels of the deck but they’re a good bit away from the elevators. Overall though, this trip was great and the condo was good. The Condo was pretty clean and not too much noise around us either. The view was GORGEOUS from the balcony! I’d rate it an 8.5/10 honestly.

Gulf shores Condo

Perfect location! Beautiful beach views. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Restaurant on the beach next to the condo with access to a bar. Has 19 floors. No issues with parking. Minimal cooking equipment. But worked for breakfast cooking. Make sure to bring extra trash bags and paper towels ! A few issues with cleanliness that can be easily fixed. Host has been made aware. No coffee pot was our biggest disappointment but we managed..

Wouldn’t stay at this unit again but would stay in complex

There was dark hair alllll over the master bedding, I’ve never seen anything like it. Dryer did not work. Due to the limited amount of bath towels we needed to wash towels after the first night. We washed them then were stuck with wet towels. None of the remotes for the tv worked. Unsure if the dishwasher worked because we arrived to the unit with a dishwasher full of dishes. The bunkbeds in the third bedroom were so noisy and would shake so out of my 3 children only one could sleep in there on the bottom bunk, top bunk was unless. I like the complex but wouldn’t return to this unit. The splash pad was nice and convenient. The walkway in between our condo and the condo to the left was very noisy at night and a high traffic area but if you had a high enough unit it probably didn’t bother you much, I would say the noise level out of a 10 is probably around 6.5

Great location and easy process

Place doesn’t have a lot of the “extras” you usually find like beach chairs, hair dryer, etc but was best priced and had all the essentials.

Location was good, place was nice, low budget toilet paper and towels, building had a lot of elevator issues during our stay.

Great view!

POSITIVES: - View is amazing! - Condo was clean when we arrived. NEGATIVES (compared to other VRBOs): KITCHEN: - dishwasher is VERY noisy. don’t start it if you plan to be at home. - there are 4 teaspoons for a condo that sleeps 6 people. - We never found any hot pads, so be prepared to bring them from home or use bathroom towels instead. - there was only ONE kitchen towel. - not very many glasses/tumblers. - electric can opener is on its last leg and almost gave out on the second can I tried to open. LIVING ROOM: - sofas are not comfortable and there is nowhere to put your feet up. This is obvious in the pictures, just wanted to highlight for people who have water retention issues and need to elevate their feet in the evenings. - there are no instructions for how the TV works, so if something like the Super Bowl is on TV, you might want to make sure the TV works ahead of time. Property Manager responded quickly but didn’t have any info on how to work the TV. BEDROOMS: - second bedroom’s mattress is so low to the ground, it’s difficult to get out of bed. literally, the box springs and mattress are laying on the floor. - both mattresses are pretty uncomfortable. springs make weird sounds like they are broken. BATHROOMS: - master bathroom toilet needs to be shimmed (it rocks back and forth). - no blow dryers, so bring your own. - shower curtain in master bathroom is held on by a rubberband.

Poor Sleeping Conditions

The bed or bed frame was broken causing the bed to cave in the middle. It took two days for someone to come look at it. Instead of fixing it they just took my father in law's bed that was in the other room and left him to sleep on a mattress on the floor. Totally unacceptable for people with back problems.

Nice place to stay

As far as location, excellent! Right on the beach!! Bring your own beach chairs; but there is a vendor who rents beach chairs/umbrellas for about $60/day. Building only has one set of two elevators for nearly 200 rooms (20 floors, 10 rooms per floor). This can mean LONG delays using elevators. Property is generally clean; however, our suite had some issues. Battery in smoke detector was beeping so it needed to be replaced. Need more trash bags. Not much in the way of eating dishware, plenty of cookware though. We used paper plates mostly. Our suite had no rugs on a tile floor. Would have been a nice to have. They have two pools and a hot tub area. One pool is for young ones, other is more adult. The pool's stay pretty busy.

Nice condo

This condo was clean and had a great view. Bedroom furniture was a bit old and mattresses a bit hard. Our two year old grandson loved running around in the space and on the balcony. The elevators were a very long wait. This was our first time in a condo, we usually stay in a house which we will go back too.

NEVER AGAIN

when we got there there the tv didn't work. we called Vacasa management co right away waited 45 min. to talk to some body they said we will send someone up. Didn't happen I called every day for help spending a total of 4hr. on the phone the 5th day someone came and said tv is broke good bye. On the last day of my stay another guy came up and fixed the tv ,great one night with a tv. I travel a lot this was the worst management co I've ever seen. they never got back to me about any compensation for this terrible time. Good luck to the poor guy that has to deal with them

Nice view but dirty

They notified us they were doing extra cleaning due to Covid but just the basic everyday cleaning was not done. We had to clean Our feet All the time Before putting on shoes because the floors were filthy, the ceiling fans and light fixtures Haven’t been cleaned in months- dust built up, garbage can In kitchen had Something Sticky and yellow in bottom that wasn’t cleaned after last person, used water bottle left on shelf in laundry room, Mold all over shower curtains, mold on wall next to tub, socket covers laying on floor, light in main entrance doesn’t work, Pictures taken of all this
