Great Condo for friends fellowship on the beach!

Love staying there, kitchen is fully stocked, condo is clean and furniture is functional and nice!

Amazing view!

Everything was just as described and it was a great place to stay. Couldn’t have ask for a better experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and this property was ideally located. The condo was in a smaller building with only 14 units. It was perfect!

Absolutely loved this spot!!!! Condo has 14 units so no busy waiting for elevator Access to beach was fabulous Pool and grill area was like having your own private oasis Any issues were immediately handled!!!! Loved watching the dolphins do their morning laps from the ocean front balcony

Hidden Gem

We have stayed in Gulf Shores about 6 times. This has hit every check box we could ever ask for and then some. Close to the downtown area, food, entertainment and stores with in walking distance. The condo setup was perfect for the seven of us and was updated better than the pictures show. We are booking another with our whole family for next year.

Beyond our expectations

This was our first time staying at Casa Del Sol and it was amazing. The condo is very spacious and the balcony was huge. Working with the management was excellent. They were in contact with me thru text messages the whole time I was there. Whenever I called about a question they were wonderful to speak with. I will be definitely staying here again.

Excellent View & Location

Perfect view & beach access! The ice maker was a plus! There is an area of railing outside with ratchet straps on it which was a bit scary with kids & the elevator permit was expired. Regarless great place!

Great condo

There were 7 of us and plenty of room. Loved the small size of the complex. Easy parking for loading and unloading. Easy check in and check out process. Loved the separate ice maker. Only complaint was cofee maker had to be plugged in and unplugged to turn off and on because power button was broken and no sheets or blanket for sofa bed were found but overall great condo.

Great location and decent place to stay.

The house was in good shape but the TV and cable wasn’t even starting. Internet was very slow, might be the cheapest internet service.Dryer wasn’t dry cloths proper, it would only tumble dry no matter what you select.Pool need a lot of cleaning, there wasn’t much dirt in the pool but the water wasn’t clear.Everything other than that was great, we had great time, would stay here again if above problems are fixed.Beach view was mesmerizing and the unit was in very good shape other than the things mentioned above.

Took a gamble and it paid off

We knew we were taking a bit of a risk reserving this property without any actual pictures of the unit available. After a rocky start with checking in - check in time is 3:00, but the unit wasn't ready for us until 4:30 - we were very happy with the condo. The location is fantastic and being in a lower-density area of Gulf Shores the beach never felt over-crowded. The condo is a terrific size. Other than the kitchen, it could use some updating, but everything was clean and functional. We had a great time staying at Casa del Sol D2!

Fall Break vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we loved the condo and would stay again, but there were a couple of issues. The stove and oven breaker was turned off, we turned it back on and were able to use the oven but the stovetop wouldn't work. We turned in a maintenance request and he came but said parts had to be ordered. So we couldn't use the stove top throughout our stay. Also, the mattress in the master bedroom is very noisy, you can't move at all without noise, it needs to be replaced.

Amazing Unit in a great location.

I’ve stayed in dozens of beach condos over the years and this was the absolute best one. The Condo is huge! With three adults and a child, it was more home than we needed but it was nice to have the extra space. Three families (with small children) could easily stay there comfortably. The balcony was so nice and the views are even better. The Unit was beyond clean. The bathtubs sparked! The linens and mattresses were top notch. I was impressed considering it was a rental property. Check-in and Check-out was easy peasy. The Unit entrance is directly in front of the elevator which makes it easy to get in and out. Since there are only 14 units, elevator waits are short if at all. That’s a major downside to staying in a high rise. The location is great. You’re mere blocks up to two miles from all the hotspots. All in all we had an amazing experience. I would definitely stay there again. P.S. the ice machine was a major plus!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay! CDS D2 was clean and roomy with plenty of seating inside and out. Large deck and short walk to our beach chairs, which we liked! The pool was a good size and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped but take a few dishtowels/cloths. Many rentals do not have an adequate supply. Everyone said their beds were comfy; however, I stayed in non-master BR w/King bed and the mattress was SUPER firm. Not comfortable to me. I recommend replacing or adding a thick foam pad which someone can remove if they prefer sleeping on a hard surface. The bed thing is not a dealbreaker and we unanimously agreed that we want to rent this unit again. Lastly, first time I've stayed at a low-density complex...YES!!

Good property, only downfall was the elevator as it seemed to need some renovation. It was kind of jerking and took a second to settle at the end of the lift or lower.

Convenient and spacious!

We loved our stay at casa del sol. It was right on the beach with a pool right below us. Very close to several restaurants. We had a little trouble with the TVs and we found things left behind by prior clients as well by the cleaning crew. The outside porch light and above kitchen sink light did not work. However, none of these things hindered us from having a good time and sleeping well! We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was is a great location, was clean, had a gorgeous view, and plenty of room for 7 of us. Staff was very helpful and responsive. There were a few small downsides. The dryer does not dry well, so you have to run everything through twice; the remote in the living room didn’t work; WiFi was very slow; the master bath needs to be updated; it’s a little dark in the hall; and the ceiling fan in the master bath works but doesn’t move any air 🤨. Having said that, we would definitely stay here again. The location, space, and overall experience outweighs the small stuff.

My Stay

This property was ok. The proximity to the beach was great. The pool was not clean the entire visit. I felt like the towels, wash cloths were the very bare necessity, the living room furniture is not clean. If I come here again would try another cpndp in the building.
