Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was nice and clean and looked just as the pictures. We had no issues at all during our stay and would definitely stay again.

Teachers on Spring Break

The property location and views (despite stormy weather) were wonderful. The property gave us a lot of space to enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen was very nice and allowed us space to prepare meals together. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The only negatives were the glass door leading to the balcony in one of the bedrooms was inoperable and the sign blocked any view we may have had. The living room furniture could also be updated.

Great location, great views

This is an end condo and has great views. Plenty of room for the family. Check in was easy. Furniture could have been a little more comfortable, but would definitely stay here again. Easy beach access and great pool. Code for door was disabled by 8 and had read another review about this so one of us stayed in the room so we could get back in.

Great place!

The room was so spacious which was a big factor since it rained most of our trip! Great location close to everything we needed. A lot of complaints about parking however we drive suburban and had no issues. We had to go into the parking deck one time and is a little tight but so doable! Recommend this place for a getaway!

Rude Security Guard

Our stay and condo was great however the security guard always found a way to ruin everyone’s day. She was over the top and verbally attacked every guest staying at the facility. We were told by multiple families of her rudeness and thought maybe they were exaggerating until we encountered her. One family told me they had been coming to the same condo for 12 years and they will not be coming back since she’s been there. I understand she has a job to do in keeping the facility safe and in order, however, she needs to have some training in customer service for she works the front desk and engages with the guests on a daily basis. We will not be returning!

Fix your parking issue.

Over all we had a great vacation. But here are a few things that need to be addressed. The AC in the main bedrooms is awful. It feels like 70 degrees if not warmer in the two master rooms. The room with twin beds is ice cold. Also the parking situation is HORRIBLE. We paid for an extra parking pass because we had two vehicles. Two large trucks one which could not fit upstairs and the other one fit by two inches. Which we were not informed of the parking garage before arriving. The downstairs parking were taking up by small SUV’s and cars several times which would force us to find other parking or not leave in the evening for supper which affected our stay and plans. The condo would not accommodate us or refund us for the extra parking pass. They told us they had no control over the parking issue and we would have to park elsewhere until a spot became available. This needs to be addressed if I’m paying extra money for a parking pass that you can’t even make accommodations for us to use with our large vehicles.

It was okayy.

We have stayed in Gulf Shores about every summer. We found this condo for a good price, so decided to give it a try. My family is not high maintenance, so we made it work and had a lot of fun. But I know I like a detailed review for a heads up before staying somewhere, so here you go… Here are the things we found were discouraging.. -Our door code quit working at 9:00 am, while checkout is at 10:00 am. If it had not been for my handicapped grandmother still in the room, we would have been unable to open the door to get our luggage on time for check out. - The balcony (not the one out of order) had broken glass on it at arrival, and my grandmother stepped on it- slicing her foot open. - The carpet smelled like pee, and the rugs need to be replaced. - Anything metal in the condo had rust on it. I know it's the beach- but please clean it. The shower caddy in the master bathroom even had rust on it. - The air conditioner didn't work correctly. - We called someone to help us with the satellite, and no one ever came. It was the college world series weekend, and we were wanting to watch the games! We ended up figuring it out, but no one came. - The beds were uncomfortable, and even the ceiling fan globe was hanging off and making noise. We had to put it back on. - Parking was awful, but we made it work. Don’t take a big SUV or a big truck- such as a King Ranch Truck. It will NOT fit. It had it’s good things too though! It was roomy. A corner room!!! Great view! :)

Great family vacation

Family enjoyed staying here. Storms on Monday caused fire alarm system to wake us up at 1:00 am on Tuesday & Wednesday. Boys will always remind me of this. lol

Awesome stay

Beautiful place. Great support Had a TV broken and within an hour of reporting it, they had someone checking it out and an hour later they had a new TV. Very well set-up place. Our family had a freakin blast!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! GREAT LOCATION!¡ We will be back.

Company dropped the ball, unit needs some repairs, view is amazing.

After 16 hours on the road with two kids the afterhours arrival packet was not in the lockbox as advised. No parking passes. The condo door code was incorrect. Took over an hour to get ahold of someone to get the correct code. Had to go back to the office the next morning for the packet. Checked it before leaving and once again, someone dropped the ball. Had to go back in for another one. Several hours of our paid vacation were spent fixing their mistakes. No one told us to push zero on the afterhours line, my husband just tried it and it worked. Otherwise, we would not have gotten in the condo. The security guard was amazing and helped us with not getting towed and waited with us while we tried to get a new code. Tv in bedroom was busted, no batteries in remotes, master bedroom fan too loud to use, washer incredibly loud, dryer took two cycles to heat up, master tub drain did not seal, shower sprayed in the middle of the floor, the shower head was loose, guest toilet ran constantly, there isn’t a door lock for the master bath, sofa bed had food crumbs and toys in it. Ironically the cleanliness flyer had someone’s handwritten order on the back from a previous stay. The cleaning crew showed up one hour early and knocked on the door three different times rushing us to leave. They sat outside of the door and knocked every few minutes. The location and pools were good. The view was amazing.

Great Location

The property is in a great location. The view was wonderful. Checking in was easy. The negatives are definitely that it wasn’t clean. The carpeting was blackened by traffic, our bare feet blackened when we walked bare foot in there. We always remove our shoes when we enter. The sofa had many stains. Walls dinged from previous vacationers. The ceiling filters were black. A definite positive was the immediate response from the property management to have the air filters changed.

Island Tower

Older property with very tight and limited parking situation. We were in a surburban and could not access upper deck parking because of height limitations. Unit was comfortable but some furniture needs to be upgraded. WONDERFUL views and patios. Overall, we enjoyed our 7 day stay very much.

Great property

We all enjoyed the stay. 3 BR and baths. All 3 rooms had access to a balcony, and you could see the Gulf from all. Great location. Indoor and outdoor pool were awesome

Wonderful condo!

Other than there being 2 elevators to transport a large # of condos, we really didn’t experience huge issues getting up and down from the 10th floor. We absolutely loved our condo, the view, the pool and the beach. The views are just as amazing as the pictures portray. 5 stars! We’ll def be back!

Perfect Location!

We loved that we were just steps from the beach! Easy access and we never had a problem with the elevators. Elevators were always available and always working. We used the grill downstairs and the kitchen for meals. Rooms were just as described and just like the photos. The views from the large windows and balconies were amazing! I thought we were in a great location, we walked to several places, including the Hangout and public beach area. We would love to come back and stay here again.

It was awesome!

Just to let everyone know about this unit, it had the most amazing view! It was very comfortable and felt like home! It was very close and easy access to the beach! Very spacious! All though Im not one to complain but I will say the Elevators do need updating, and we’re very hot to be in, but they never let us down! The bathrooms could be more Handicap accessible, but we made due. I will commend Liquid Life sending a New Keurig over when ours wouldn’t work, I would like to say Thank You! Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We will most definitely come back and stay in this unit again! We love the Island Tower! Great location! 😊

We arrived to find out that the building was being x-rayed for cracks in the building. We were told to be out of our room for a day but to go to the condo above us. Found out later that we could not go to that room had to go to another one due to possible radiation. We had an 18 month old with us, so we had to pack , move, unpack and then do it again. Liquid Life’s lack of concern was unappreciated and unprofessional. Yes, they gave us another room for a day but the inconvenience was unbelievable. This was supposed to be a vacation for goodness sake. I will NEVER rent through Liquid Life again or stay at Island Towers. Do yourself a favor Rent through Meyer or Gulf Shores Realty

Great condo with a view from all bedrooms~~

The condo was nicely decorated and had sufficient seating for dining and relaxing inside or out on the balconies. Yes--balconies--each bedroom had access to one. The grandkids really enjoyed the infinity pool (ages 4 and 6). The condo complex itself had an elevator issue. Only one elevator for the 26 floors. So there was often considerable wait time for the elevator. There was remodeling being done on an upper floor and the elevator was often tied up with construction debris being moved out. Although the condo met our expectations, the elevator issue was definitely a drawback to renting this condo again. We enjoyed a dolphin boat ride with Surfs Up. Amazing views of dolphins in and out of the water. Always enjoy our visit to Gulf Shores.

READ BEFORE BOOKING

This condo is in the location listed, and the views are completely accurate. It is a beautiful, uncrowded beach, and you can see all of it from the room. Gorgeous. That said, when I arrived, the balcony doors had large signs stating, "UNSAFE BALCONY. DO NOT USE". The mgt co. told me to remove and ignore the signs (blaming the HOA - like they did for everything), but it was discouraging to say the least (especially in light of recent events). The building has two slow, overworked elevators. One of them was out of service during the entire week of our visit (never ran once). Then in the morning of our first full day, the second elevator went out as well, stranding my 75 year old mother on the 10th floor for more than a third of her entire stay. She could not do ten flights of stairs, and it was no picnic for the rest of us either. This experience scared my daughter and others enough that they chose to do the ten flights for most of the rest of the trip. I can tell you that I would NOT have booked this unit had I known it would become a tenth-floor walk-up. The mgt co. communicated some throughout but never offered proactively to do anything about any of it. They consistently laid the responsibility at the feet of the building HOA and told me that it was just "the joys of vacationing". After some intense complaining on my part (how fun) they did drop off a $100 VISA gift card (so, almost nothing). You need an "amenity key" to get to the indoor pool and gym. That key was not in our room. We had to demand that the mgt co. eventually drop off a copy. The indoor pool was hot and humid and not really useable in the summer. The unit was clean, but there were no supplies included (no hand, dish, or shower soap, coffee, paper products, cleaning products, etc.). There were no extra sheets or blankets (we used all of the beds). There were no beach items either (chairs, toys, etc.). There is a service on the beach directly in front of the building offering two chairs and an umbrella for $35 from 9am-5pm every day. The location is wonderful in that the beach is not as crowded as other spots nearby, but it also means that you will need to drive to most restaurants, stores, and activities. The place next door is highly rated, but it is also packed to the gills, so we never sat through the wait. Finally, the mgt co. turned off our door code BEFORE our checkout time, locking us out of the unit while we were packing up. I would not book there again.
