Tha pool was fabulous and the balcony was wonderful. The only issue we had was the recliner was broken and there were no curtains to block the light in the living room as required by condo rules.

My husband and I wanted a beach vacation, and the views from this condo are what sold us. It is absolutely stunning. You see the Gulf views as soon as you walk in. The pools were always cool and it was the easiest beach access I've ever experienced. A management company owns this condo. They are super responsive and easy to communicate with. I would say this is more of a family location because children are everywhere. If you want more of an adult vacation spot, I would look elsewhere, but regardless, my husband and I will definitely return and get this exact condo. We may just wait until kids are in school. Excellent condo, location, and communication.

Good atmosphere

It was good. Just need better mattress cover for master bedroom. Sofa pull out was very uncomfortable. The bunk beds needs some kind of protection. My daughter fell down the first day and it could have been bad.. overall was a good stay.

Lighthouse Condo

We arrived late on Wednesday, Check in was a breeze, Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the large carts available were awesome got it all in one trip and easy to maneuver. High points were the location, Balcony- Doors keep all the noise out and ohhhh that View!! Bed was very comfy, tub was a nice addition for a good soak. Kitchen very well equipped and very clean. Points off for the living room furniture but thankfully there were alot of pillows to help make it more manageable to sit and enjoy TV time. Washer and Dryer in unit a must and they worked great! The access to the pool and beach are great. Our only Complaint is at the pool there is zero shade, no where to sit out of the sun to watch your kids is brutal. Things I noticed: I would tell the owners that had I needed to use the bunk beds I would have been concerned as the raw wood and nails are exposed on the top bunk. Some touch ups on paint and a good baseboard cleaning are needed. A nice Sectional to curl up on and watch the waves would seal the deal for me to return.n

Great time even with rainy weather

The unit was great, good location, good deck furniture. The fitted sheet in master does not stay on, need deeper pocketed sheets, had to put back in place each morning. Hot tub was full of sand and never cleaned. Even though it is posted as no smoking facility, each time we were on the balcony someone was smoking a cigar or cigarette. Very unpleasant.

Cozy and convenient

The condo was very clean and had all necessities included. I would have liked for the living room to have room darkening curtains that closed all the way to prevent bright light coming in from the sunrise. The ones that were up were one only panel and did not close at all. Other than that, everything else was just as the pictures indicated. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

Great location and very clean

We always love staying at the Lighthouse and have stayed at several different condos there. This property was great, but did have some things that did not compare to others we have stayed at. The sheets on the master bed would not stay in place as others have mentioned, but the bed was comfortable. The tv in the master also needs an upgrade as it was tiny. The bunk room was also lacking a tv, which our kids where disappointed by, as they wanted to relax and watch a movie after a long day at the beach. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will definitely return.

Great spot!

Enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse! Nice pools, easy check in, beautiful view, great location! Only complaint is the sheets don’t fit the bed! Seems like a small complaint, but very annoying! I would come back, but I’d bring a deep fitting sheet!

Great 7 night stay!

Great view! Everything was wonderful with exception to the couch. Couch was not comfortable for an evening movie. Fitted bed sheets need replaced as they didn't stay on the bed at all and constantly had to be adjusted. We had an issue with a leaking shower but host was super prompt on fixing it within a few hours. No other issues!!! Had everything we needed to cook within the condo. Plenty of space to feel more like a big apartment rather than a small hotel. We will return for sure!!

Just ok

This condo looks amazing in the pictures, but it was just ok. The master bathroom had mold all around the shower door and on the ceiling. The floors throughout the condo felt gross, like they were barely clean. My family wore shoes inside the condo the entire week because it felt so gross. The furniture in the living room is VERY worn in and dirty. We had a problem with the bed sheets staying on the bed. We could barely sit on the bed without the corners of the fitted sheet coming off. I’ve seen several other reviews saying a few of these same things, and they have yet to be fixed. The place was fine, but just felt very used and icky. Positives…it was in a great location, the elevators were very fast, and the check in/out process was very easy.

parking!!!!!!!!!!

this place was nice but first time of going on vacations for 50 years I had to pa for parking $40. To make matters worse the spaces in the parking garage were very tight making it difficult to park safely and without having fear of your vehicle being damaged some people took up 2 spaces to keep someone from cramming in beside them

Beach vacation

Gulf Shores was beautiful! Condo was clean and cool when we arrived. There were plenty of towels. Room was large enough for the 6 of us. Beautiful view from balcony!

Lighthouse 1102

We’ve stayed at different properties at the lighthouse and love the location and building. While this time wasn’t terrible, it could’ve been better. The floors were filthy. Our feet were black after walking around the condo with no shoes even AFTER a shower! The fitted sheet on the master bed would not stay on. The washer spin cycle didn’t work and took us several tries to get a cycle that wasn’t soaking wet afterwards. The dryer is loud and squeaky. We would also recommend a child’s safety lock for the front door and some hooks or shelves in the bathroom to hang towels.

Updates needed

The living room furniture is worn out and needs replaced. Master bath had no towel hooks. Master bed needs mattress pad and deep pocket sheets. Need an extra blanket S master was a sheet and blanket only.
