Great location, but many unforeseen problems

We enjoyed our stay. The location and weather was great. This is our 5th time in Gulf Shores and we know places to eat, etc.From day one, however, we had problems. The washer and dryer didn’t work. There was a code, but no booklet to which I could refer. Also the dishwasher stopped working and needed replacement(we only had one for the last 2 weeks of our month.) Also the living room couch and most of the high top chairs were very uncomfortable, just worn out..there were a myriad of other small problems. I got tired of complainingThe maintenance staff were very professional and friendly.. You may just dismiss me as “aBitch” but believe me, this isn’t my typical review. Someone needs to use a check list, particularly before a month long rental..

I loved the condo. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the room, carts to take our belongings up the elevator to the room, beach access literally across the street. We didnt hear outside noise or other guests and there was construction going on across the road, we didnt hear anything...I would love to stay here again. My ONLY issue was the parking. It says you get one free parking pass, I didnt see where it specifies you ONLY get the ONE parking spot. I think it should be better pointed out in the descriptions...in bold letters so its not missed. If you have 2 vehicles you have to park it somewhere else, you have to find public parking and pay for it, the closest is 2 miles up the road and $25 per night. Besides that...I have zero complaints.

Exterior of the property is a little dated, but overall, very nice and comfortable. My only complaints were that the pillows were lacking in quality and the shower never got very hot. I wish there was a fitness center on-site and parents were required to monitor their children in the pool area. Someone voided in the pool, so it had to be closed on Friday night. We were too leery of the cleanliness to return during the second half of our stay. Otherwise, the condo itself was nice. Good location by the state park.

Overall my family and I were not wowed by the condo condition. The space , size and layout were nice and provided good sleeping options for myself and two kiddos. On nigh one, my older son got into a bed that was full of sand on the top bunk, so we opted to put him on the sofa bed. Upon opening the sofa bed there was a heap of dirty sheets inside. The owners did provide fresh linens so we changed those sheets. The condo really needs a remodel, it dates back from the late 90s early 2000s and it's time for new appliances, bath re-do, and furniture. It just felt a little worn. While the pool and staff were great, we believed we were staying at a beach front property. We didn't notice you had to cross a road with 45 mph traffic to get to the beach with no crosswalk, so please be careful. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for. However, the place really needs working lights and more than one laundry detergent and dishwasher soap for a guest who's staying for 6 days.

awesome stay!!

we enjoyed our stay for sure! the condo was clean and cute. wish there were more appliances or other odds and ins things; however, still a great stay overall. great distance from the beach with still a great view. everything was less than 10 minutes away. would definitely recommend!

The overall property was nice and clean. The only issue we had was with one of the condo owners making snarky remarks every time we did something. We probably won’t stay here again because of that.

Clean but horrible facility management

The stay was decent we were able to see many places and still enjoy quiet family time. However we could never get pool time due to people coming in (not staying at the resort) using the pool and then leaving and walking down the street. ( a resort employee never said a word and was present every time) We then had been out for the day and came back in and were getting ready to lay down and the manager came to the door and said we were being to loud for the unit below us. We weren’t and verified we had just return and he proceeded to tell us the floors have poor insulation(which unfortunately we could not control) the unit was clean and great but the management at the resort leaves a bitter taste on the stay.

Gulf Shores winter getaway

We enjoyed our time in lovely Gulf Shores. We stayed for 6 weeks and were very comfortable in the condo. We had never stayed in a condo before(always brought our camper down) but this year with my husband facing some health issues, we decided to book this place. We enjoyed the location, the view, and the comforts of home. The only drawback was the furniture on the deck was not as represented. The picture was of comfortable seating and a table, but what was there was one small wooden folding chair and a somewhat adequate folding table. We have signed up for next year at the same time, so we are hoping that this will be remedied by then!
