Perfect location & views! Nice rooftop pool! The music from Hangout next door can be loud, but turning on the bathroom fan in the bedroom works to block out the noise. Highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Penthouse at Gulf Place during Shrimp Fest. We were within walking distance of several shops and restaurants and were able to hear alot of the music from the balcony. Enjoyed being able to take time to go thru all of the vendors. We had 11 people and there was plenty of room. We will definitely rent again.

This property is right in the heart of Gulf Shores! We enjoyed the balconies that viewed the beautiful beach & the city life as well! It is right next to multiple shops and restaurants and accessible by walking. Parking is across the street so plan extra time for arrival and departure.

10/10! Already planning next trip!

My group of 17 could not be more pleased with Lucky Bird Vacations and Gulf Place Condos! From start to finish, top to bottom, the 6th fl Penthouse and 5th fl condo were loaded with awesome perks. We loved the coozies, games, wristbands (*they don't loosen so put on loosely first!* some used our ankles) and the binder was helpful when it came time to check out. Everything was very clean except for a few dishes but no big deal, Penthouse has not one but TWO dishwashers, fridges, and washer/dryers. (Plus it seemed to be from previous visitors, not cleaning crew) We loved having en suites for everyone - even without a big group it's just great. Connecting balconies were also a great feature and very safe for the littles. Didn't use the pool because of windy weather, but the 7th floor rec room was a great hangout area. Being so private yet right next to The Hangout and right on the beach couldn't have been a better location! I disagree with other reviewers about parking being negative - at most, I'd say it's slightly inconvenient. It's the closest lot available and you can see half of the parking lot as long as you're not on the corner beach side west end of the building. There are about 8 spots for the loading zone right in front & plenty of carts for luggage, groceries, beach needs, etc. This place is such a gem. We're already planning dates to go back next year!

Great Place

We had a very nice stay in the penthouse. The unit was beautiful and had a lot of indoor and outdoor space for our family. Huge outdoor balcony just for the penthouse unit was neat. Location was good and was within walking distance to anything you would need. We could hear the music from the Hangout but wasn't bothersome for any of us. Property management was responsive and very helpful to us! The store below the property was great to have and well stocked with things you would need and having the discount based on our stay was great! They property does tell you in advance to bring lots of stuff you would need (condiments, beach towels, toiletries, etc) The only recommendation I would suggest for a "penthouse" level experience is to have all of these items already in stock to limit number of errands you have to run while on vacation. We would recommend this unit to anyone.

Massive, clean, awesome property!

The property was so clean and nice. The property managers were prompt in answering questions. Located right next to The Hangout is really cool and convenient until you’re ready for bed…the music is extremely loud until late at night. Other than that it was truly amazing!

Gorgeous condo

Excellent location in the middle of Gulf Shores. Next to the Hangout, which is clearly advertised in the listing so make sure you will enjoy the music each night. The condo was gorgeous, plenty of space and nicely furnished. For a week long stay it would have been nice to have a dresser in the bedroom. Easy access to the beach. It’s the public portion of the beach so don’t bring a canopy. Chairs and umbrellas are for rent right where you are staying. We enjoyed each morning with a cup of coffee and the gorgeous gulf and sunshine on the spacious patio. Highly recommend.

perfect if you're a party person

the property itself is lovely and the photos are accurate. new, somewhat swanky condo with comfortable bedrooms and great views of the gulf if you choose that side. after an initial hiccup with the code to get in, it went smoothly, and it was nice not to have to worry about carrying room keys. the beach right there is great. calm, warm waters, lovely white sand, not too crowded usually. the biggest drawback is that right next door is the popular HANGOUT bar/restaurant/princess/pirate show. and it runs daily. loudly every morning we got to hear the chicken dance and baby shark multiple times. worse, at night an extremely loud - and not that great - cover band jams from around 7 - 10. so, place is great, but unfortunate location. we were a group of four middle-aged women, and we got asked almost everywhere we went "are you partying?" and no, actually, while we do enjoy strong vacation cocktails and relaxing on the beach, we were not in fact 'partying.' perhaps if we were, the Hangout cacophony wouldn't have been so irksome.

Paradise at Gulf Shores

I don't know where to start as the entire process from beginning to end was outstanding. The property was immaculate and in an amazing location to restaurants, shops and activities. What truly set the penthouse apart was the overall size of the property (6 king size bedrooms all with their own bathroom and balcony) plus private access to the rooftop pool. Overall incredible
