Great Stay

I recently stayed at Grand Beach Resort in Gulf Shores and had a generally pleasant experience. The location was absolutely perfect, with the beach just a short walk away. The highlight of the property was definitely the balcony, which offered stunning views of the ocean and was a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The pool was also a nice amenity, clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing option after a day at the beach. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of activities. The convenience of being within walking distance to the beach made the stay even more enjoyable, allowing for spontaneous trips to the shore. However, there were a few issues that need addressing. The toilet in the unit kept running, which was a bit of a nuisance. Additionally, the closet doors were problematic and tended to fall down, which was inconvenient. Despite being new, the dishwasher was not in good condition. It was not installed correctly, and every time I opened it, it felt like it was coming out of its spot. Overall, while there were a few maintenance issues, the positives of the stay - the location, the view, and the amenities - outweighed the negatives. With a bit of attention to these minor fixes, this property could be an even more fantastic getaway spot.

ZERO Customer Service … Noisy … Will never stay here again.

Our stay began with a quick request for a broom and dust pan being that we were across from a sandy beach and stayed for 17 days. Five days after our initial request I bought one. Then, much to our surprise the condo was shown by a realtor to potential buyers without our knowledge!!! They let themselves into the condo unbeknownst to us!! We had valuables out that would have been taken with us as we were out for the day. A few days later a complete remodel began in the unit next door with drilling, sawing, and hammering until 1:00 am several nights in a row! The walls are very thin. So much so that you can hear the neighbors conversations at all hours of the night. If the construction next door wasn’t bad enough, a construction crew was outside building a five story staircase while at least one elevator was out our entire stay. The five lanes of major traffic and the new 28 story building going up across the street made sitting on the balcony anything BUT peaceful or enjoyable experience. Our “host/s” was one of the worst. After multiple attempts to reach them we were blown off repeatedly. As much as I love Gulf Shores and all it has to offer, I would never again book the Grand Beach Resort or use Island Rentals.

Better than we hoped.

So, we had a little snafu with our reserved rental having some maintenance issues before we arrived. So, the rental agents were very prompt and awesome in locating us something even better. We loved the condo and everything was great! We are looking forward to our next trip.

Great beach getaway

We had a great extended weekend stay. The view of the beach was beautiful!! We enjoyed sitting on the beach, a dolphin cruise and eating!!! 😊😎 we enjoyed the condo and would definitely recommend!!!

Short vacation, great condo.

The condo was comfortable and clean. The view was great. The bed mattress was soft not firm, but we survived. We really enjoyed the pool and access to the beach was easy. Some of the neighbors who live there were bossy and nosy but otherwise we had a great stay.

Great views; easy ocean access

So convenient to beach & great bike paths. Cute condo but minimal cooking equipment ( well used utensils, no dish drainer, scrub pads, etc) No hangers or bath mats. We loved our stay but be prepared for minimal!

Amazing stay

We actually booked last minute for thanksgiving and couldn’t have been more pleased. The property is well kept and you simply cross the street to get to the beach. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Thank you so much!

You couldn’t ask for a nicer condo and area to stay in and the price was very reasonable.

The pictures were exactly what the the condo look liked. They were very clean and nicely decorated. The view was breathtaking. It was our first time going to Gulf Shores and it was more fun than we expected. The pool was clean and we enjoyed it too. We will be going back there and staying in those condos again.

Great decor and perfect size for us. Very clean. The mattress needs to be replaced and a blender would be a benefit but overall it was great.
