I would really like to give this property 5 stars because the unit was clean and nicely furnished and the staff was courteous, but upon entering the unit, it had a strong paint smell. I am sure it's what caused my daughter and me headaches. After being there a couple of days, I guess we adjusted, but the smell was still prevalent our entire stay.

Everything was good. Housekeeping was a little slack. Not sure when the floors were mopped last. Two of us walked around in sock feet and after one evening we threw the socks away.

Spring break’25

Great condo. No issues. In the past year we’ve rented 3 VRBO properties. The only “issue” is knowing what to bring or not. Recently the property had detergent for days, coffee pods or grounds, etc. This property didn’t have a salt packet. That’s not a problem except knowing ahead what to bring. The unit was perfect for us.

Pheonix II Stay

This was my first and ONLY stay at Phoenix 2. The only working elevator broke the day we checked out. We were on the 11th floor. Five trips up and down 11 flights of stairs to get our stuff downstairs!! It was horrible! There was NO lazy river as eluded to on the registration page. It’s was very small with no extras. I feel I DID NOT get my money’s worth. I was promised some money refunded, but after two weeks, I’m still waiting 😡

Nice family getaway

The unit itself was nice and spacious for our family with quick beach access. It is in the heart of Orange Beach….close to tons of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The main balcony has a beautiful view of the beach. The master bedroom balcony overlooks the parking lot. The only disappointment was the elevator situation. We were there for 5 days and one elevator wasn’t working the whole time. We had to wait sometimes 20 minutes for the elevator….which was not air-conditioned and very hot.

Perfect location- cute condo.

We really enjoyed our stay, the residences in other units were very nice & fun to hang out with by the pool. I wanted to take the master bed and pillows home with me. Front gate employees were great. Front desk lady at Phoenix 1 was so friendly. We had an issue with the master toilet our first night (Friday) that continued the next day(Saturday). The rental property wanted us to wait til Monday to address the issue and we were leaving on Sunday. She ended up calling me back and had someone come out that day(Saturday). Upon leaving there was a woman and her child waiting outside for us to leave, I felt VERY RUSHED. If it was another renter than I felt sorry because I had just cooked breakfast and the entire place smelled like bacon and was not cleaned/sanitized by a cleaning department.

Clean rooms and nice view

The trip was pleasant, the rooms were clean, the cabinets were stocked with plates, dishes, and utensils. The only downside was too little toilet paper. We reserved the trip through Beach Getaways, which was not the property owner. This was a slight hassle since Phoenix mgn only response the property owner requests not 3rd parties. They were stingy with toiletries, which we were short on upon arrival. There were 7 in our family for a 3-bedroom condo (4 females). So toilet paper was important (apparently). Overall, it was a great view and pleasant. stay. Will do again!

Late summer get away

The view was beautiful. The condo was very spacious and the master bed was so comfortable. Being able to use the amenities of Phoenix 1-4 was wonderful. The beach was a very short walk and the water was not a long walk across the beach. We will definitely be back!

Disappointed

We love coming to the Phoenix but we were disappointed with this unit. This was our first time renting a 3 bedroom unit and with last years COVID shutdowns the price this year was absorbent. We paid $3400 including the booking fee for 6 nights. First, let me say that I loved the layout of the unit and the space that we had to move around. In its day I'm sure this was a gorgeous unit but now it is just outdated and in desperate need of some major repairs. There are holes in the walls and the walls are also in desperate need of painting. The furniture which is cute cloth is dirty from use and with a light colors is very noticeable. The refrigerator needs to be thrown out. It is small, the drawers don't fit right and the door doesn't seal tight. The lamps shades were wobbly, tilted and mismatched. The coffee table leg was broken and needed to be repaired because if you touched or bumped it the leg would lean or completely fall off. The kitchen table wobbly and the leg was angled. I personally crawled under it to tighten the bolts for fear the whole thing would collapse. We didn't even use it or 2 the chairs because it just wasn't sturdy. The units beds were ok but not spectacular to sleep on, especially the twin beds which were hard. The bed coverings were very pretty and clean and the bedroom suits were modern and nice. There were 2 balconies but only one patio set so we had to move the chairs back and forth to enjoy both. The cleaning crew did ok but we did have trash under the chairs and one bed. There was also what looked to be pizza sauce on the couch pillows that I tried to get off. Also, in a unit that sleeps 8 with 2 bathrooms we were only given 5 towels, which is a ridiculous number. Overall, this unit was just ok but it could be great with some easy fixes and upgrades. It was very disappointing to spend the amount of money this unit cost for it to function and look like it did. I don't recommend it. Also, I did reach out to the agency and to the best of my knowledge they never responded back.

Nice! We’ll definitely book with them again!

We had a great experience staying at the Phoenix 2. The only thing I can say is the shower curtain in the main bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner. If it weren’t for that I would’ve given it five stars. Other than that everything was great! The staff was very kind and accommodating. There was lots to do at our location and the pool and hot tub‘s were great! Our kids loved that there was a game room on property.

Great OB view

The condo was nice & very spacious. Amazing views. Pool, hot tubs, and short boardwalk to the beach. Beds were VERY comfortable! Only downfalls washer and dryer are very loud & squealing. The bathroom fans are also very loud. The master bedroom balcony lock didn't work.
