    The Space:

    Welcome to our freshly updated, 1,841 sq ft beach house, designed to feel like a true getaway, not a worn-out rental. The Salty Shellback is located in Morgantown, one of the most charming beach communities in the Fort Morgan area. You get the peaceful, tucked-away feel of Fort Morgan with dog friendly beaches, while still being close enough to enjoy Gulf Shores restaurants, shopping, golf, marinas, and family attractions

    The bright, open living and dining area is the perfect central hub for your group to gather. We've refreshed everything with new mattresses, furniture, bedding, and coastal décor for a clean, comfortable stay.



    Living Area: Features a large TV with cable and streaming capabilities for movie nights.

    Kitchen: Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances for preparing your favorite meals.

    Coffee Bar: Includes a Keurig Duo (for grounds or K-Cups) and a Nespresso machine with a complimentary starter supply of pods and syrup.

    Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 12):

    Bedroom 1: King Bed

    Bedroom 2: King Bed

    Bedroom 3: Queen-over-Queen Bunk Beds

    Bedroom 4: Two Triple-Twin Bunk Beds (sleeps 6 children)



    Please note: the twin bunk room is intended for children only. The upper bunks are not made for children over 250lbs collectively. Queen bunks- the lower bunk can be utilized for Adults and the top bunk for children-teenagers that weigh no more than 200lbs.



    Guest Access:

    Guests will have private access to the entire home and its amenities. Your stay includes:

    Guest App that has all the local recommendations

    Private Entrance: Seamless, keyless entry with a smart lock.

    Community Amenities: Full access to two community pools (one heated), a baby pool, tennis courts, and basketball hoops.

    Beach Gear: We provide a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, and beach toys.

    Home Entertainment: Enjoy a game of cornhole, a sound system, and a selection of children's books and toys.

    Work & Family: The home includes a dedicated workspace and baby safety gates.

    Starter Stay Essentials:

    We provide a starter supply of paper products, trash bags, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion to help you settle in. Depending on the length of your stay and your personal needs, you may want to bring or purchase additional supplies. You will need to bring Charcoal for the grill.



    Coffee Bar:

    Our coffee bar includes a limited complimentary supply of Nespresso pods and syrup. Please plan to bring your own creamer, milk, or any other preferred coffee add-ins.

    The home also has a Keurig Duo that can brew both traditional coffee grounds and K-Cup style pods. Please note that coffee for the Keurig Duo is not provided.

    Beach Access

    The beach is a very short walk from the home using the community boardwalk beach access. No need to fight for parking or load the car for every beach trip. Grab your towels, beach bag, and chairs, and head straight to the sand. Fort Morgan Beaches are dog friendly but dogs must stay on a leash and in control by their owners.



    Location

    The Salty Shellback is located in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores, close to beautiful beaches, local restaurants, golf, marinas, and family-friendly attractions.

    Getting Around:

    The property is about a 500 foot walk to the community board walk to the beach. There are 3rd party golf cart rentals available in the area. There is a Restaurant and market 1 mile from the home Called Sassy Bass. It is seasonal but so worth the visit.

    Early Check in Fee is $75

    Late Check out Fee is $100

    Good things to Know:

    The booking guest must be at least 25 years old and will be required to submit Driver License or Valid US Government form of Identification and a selfie. The home has a maximum occupancy of 12 guests. The children’s bunk room is designed for children only, bottom bunks may be used for Adult Sleeping. Parking is limited to vehicles that fit in the driveway/underdeck of home parking area. It can reasonably hold 4 regular sized cars.

    Security: For your safety and the protection of the property, three security cameras are located on the exterior of the home. They are not positioned to view any interior spaces.

    Pet Policy: We welcome up to two approved, non-shedding dogs for a fee of $75 per pet. Dogs must be crated if left unattended, leashed at all times when outside, and all waste must be picked up and disposed of properly. Due to insurance restrictions, certain breeds are not permitted.

    Service Animals: Legally recognized service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable laws. They are not subject to pet fees but must be under the handler's control at all times and may not be left unattended.

    Agreement to House Rules:

    By booking this property, guests acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, community rules, policies, and instructions provided by the property owner, property manager, or booking platform. This includes any rules listed in the property description, rental agreement, pre-arrival messages, welcome guide, and posted instructions inside and throughout the home.



    Failure to follow these rules may result in additional fees, removal from the property, cancellation of the reservation without refund, and/or claims for damages when applicable.
