This is a wonderful house with the perfect location for a relaxing vacation . The ease of access to the beach or the lagoon was one of my favorite details. The house is well kept and has a stocked kitchen, including an airfryer. There are more than enough items in the storage unit for the beach. I loved that the rooms upstairs had private bathrooms. I will definitely check availability at this house when I return to Gulf Shores. Thank you for such amazing accommodations!

Excellent communication

I can’t say enough nice things about our hosts. Our wifi went out during our stay due to a storm. The hosts did everything possible to get it fixed and stayed in communication with us. We really enjoyed staying here!

We loved this house!

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults but can sleep more. It had everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of bath towels and beach items. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and being outside with a view of the water! This is our 3rd time staying on west beach and we are already thinking of when we will be back to rent Reef and Reel. There isn’t one negative about our stay here!

Close to perfect

This property was perfect for what we needed for our travel party. It was cozy and had all of the amenities necessary to make our stay comfortable. We had one slight appliance issue, but after a quick message to the host, a repairman was out to fix it and we were good as new afterwards. The only thing negative about the stay was we wish the patio had better outdoor lighting for sitting on the patio after sunset. The washer was fun to work with as it tends to travel while washing, but still works and did what it needed to do. We would definitely choose this host and property again for our next trip. 10/10.

We loved the location of this property. Very short walk to the beach even though it is across the street. Everything was as advertised and owner was very pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time! The walk to the beach was easy and the beaches were over crowded. Having to dock in the back and small beach areas made for a good break and we got to adventure the bay side waters seeing crabs and fishing. The only negative was the room not being ready when we arrived at 4 but overall we had a great stay

Perfect Beach House for Our Family!

Reef and Reel could not have been more perfect for our first family vacation to the beach! The listing was so accurate. The house was so close to the beach and we loved watching the ocean from the balcony while we drank coffee. We even saw dolphins swimming one morning from the balcony - so cool! The house was clean and decorated so nicely with beachy decor. We especially loved the set up- grandparents stayed on the first level with their own bathroom, while my family of four stayed in the two bedrooms upstairs. Each room having its own bathroom was amazing and access to a washer and dryer was so convenient. The big comfy sectional was also so nice in the living room because of all 6 of us could be seated comfortably (for some reason, that tends to be lacking in other houses we’ve rented or looked at). My kids (2 and 6) loved all of the beach toys provided. It was also fun to take the kids to the pool or down to the lagoon in the evening after a long day at the beach. The owner was so responsive to any needs or questions. We couldn’t stop, and can’t stop talking about how much we loved staying at Reef and Reel and hope to come back again for our next beach vacation!

Fun at the reef and reel!!

We felt lucky to find this place at the last minute for our spring break. Very satisfied with the home. We had everything we needed. For a good time. Loved gulf shores and the beach. Would rent this property again in the future.

Wonderful Getaway Spot

WeWe loved our stay here - the boardwalk made access to the beach very easy and we also loved the fishing dock in the back of the property. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean. There were lots of chairs and beach items in the storage area that we could use. We were about 3 miles from the main drag which meant the beach itself was not as crowded but it was still convenient to go to restaurants and shopping. We loved this place and I can't say enough good things. We hope to be back soon!

Fun Family Getaway

Our family of 4 met up with my sister’s family of three. Overall, the house was great. It was stocked with everything you need to get started on vacation. The location was perfect for beach going because we had private access; however, it is a little further down so you can’t really walk to anything. We enjoyed having the pool to relax in after the beach!

Great house for a large family

We stayed for 7 nights and it was a great experience. The house is across the street from the beach but it is very easy to cross and we have 6 kids, 4 of them are little. Our big kids loved the lagoon area and riding bikes that house provided. There were also plenty of beach items and toys as well. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had plenty of room for our family of 10! We had one small issue during our stay, the AC was having a hard time keeping up. I contacted Shannon after-hours and she responded quickly and had someone out the next day. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
