We were excited to come to Fort Morgan Alabama. We got to the house and it was dark no problem house was clean. Woke up the next day to what smelled like sewage. Went downstairs and under the house it was full of raw sewage. It took them 4 days to do anything about it. And then they only offer half the money back. Complete breach of contract. I expected a clean and safe and healthy environment. It was none of that even the barbecue girl was absolutely disgusting. I will be requesting a full refund. I ended up missing 3 days of work because I got sick and had to go to the Urgent Care. I do not recommend

This property was way oversold in the listing and therefore overpriced. There are so many things wrong or missing, that one would think the owner would recognize the deficiency and fix it. Not here!Inside no broom or vacuum to sweep up anything like sand, the AC was not able to hold a steady temperature even with the extra window AC unit, no broiler pan for cooking, the front door could not be locked from the outside so we always had to use the back door when exiting. The cookware looks like a throw-away from a Goodwill store. The pans are ancient and scratched so badly, the teflon was coming off. The bathrooms all had sugar ants crawling around and the only trap was in the kitchen. There is no disposal and no electric cords for the two portable cook pans. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker, however two microscopically small ice trays are in the freezer not filled with ice. Outside the front door is rusted and torn allowing the AC to constantly escape. The grill was beyond worn out and looked like it was never cleaned. The back deck had two risers missing that a child or small dog could have easily fallen through. The risers are laying on the ground below the place where they fell out Overall the place was decently furnished but no beach towels, one total beach chair, and a rolled up beach shade cover that looked like it had not been used in years. The next week after our stay the price reduced 50/night. This place is not worth the price ask. Need lots of work.

The house was as clean as my own. The Host responded quickly to any questions. The beach is only a block away. You can see it from the balcony. The home is dog friendly. It was perfect for what we were looking for. We had a great table to play cards. The back porch was nice and breezy. We grilled the fish that was caught that morning on a deep sea fishing expedition. We found the back steps were easier to navigate for daily use. The price was very reasonable. My only suggestion is for future renters. Bring all seasoning for food, including salt and pepper. Oil, coffee, filters, etc. Pots, pans, plates and utensils are plentiful. There was only one dish towel. I’ll bring a few the next time I go. I’ll also bring a few bath cloths/towels, toilet paper and paper towels. There was some provided, I just needed more. These are just my suggestions, not complaints. There’s a washer and dryer with 2 cleaning pods provided. Same with dishwasher. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
