It wasn’t bad until we were leaving. The door handle broke, leaving us locked in the condo with no way out. We were trying to leave out early, so maintenance was not on duty yet. This delayed our departure about 45 minutes.The bathrooms are smaller than we thought they would be. Decor is dated. Kitchen was well stocked, much better than most we’ve rented. Location is great. Property amenities were great. Fitness Center could use some expansion and free weights. Parking lot was under construction, blocking the main entrance. This was a big inconvenience, and should have been done in the offseason, not peak Spring Break.

When we unlocked the door, I immediately picked up candy wrappers and a Qtip from the front of the door- outside. The master shower was disgusting when we entered. I went to Walmart and bought shower cleaner with bleach to remove the mold in the shower. I had to remove a clump of hair from the drain. The other shower didn’t drain for the first three days until maintenance came and unclogged the drain on the forth day. The master comforter was not placed correctly and the ruffle was hanging out in one spot

Perfect for a week away!

We love the Phoenix VII, in fact this is our 5th year visiting! This condo was perfect for us this year since we brought some additional family. We loved having 2 balconies, one big one with the beach view and one smaller one off the back. This condo has everything you need in the kitchen which was nice because we cooked every single day. There were plenty of books and board games to keep you busy too! We didn’t have any issues during our stay so I didn’t have to contact owner but with any questions I had before, they were very responsive which is very much appreciated. The one thing that I had not dealt with before was the $55 vehicle fee per vehicle for the week, not a huge deal but we just hadn’t factored that into the trip. This place literally has everything you need to accommodate everyone for the week; pools, both indoor and out, shuffle board, grills, chairs and umbrellas around pool and also chair & umbrella rental on the beach, coffee in the lobby in the mornings, workout room, saunas, and tons more. We will for sure be back next year!

Perfect Family vacation

The condo is beautifully decorated, our 5 year old granddaughter said, “this place is amazing!” She especially loved all the mermaid decorations. 😊 The view is amazing, the walk to the beach is much easier than anticipated and the pools are great for the grands. The kitchen is well equipped and the property management company does a great job keeping the property clean and in good order. Overall we had a wonderful week and would definitely return.

Stay was good. Some minor issues to mention: 1. Bedroom electrical outlets need replacing-charging plugins would not stay in place. 2. Fabric on couch and chair needs cleaning. 3. TV remotes were mixed up and took a while to get to where all were operable, except guest bedroom which we could not start at all. 4. Top bunk in kids room is wobbly and maybe not safe until reinforced. Positives were: Access to beach and pool was very good! The balconies are great, and the breeze is very good on the beachside where we sat each night! The unit was spacious and all appliances were in good operations. The parking with security is good, elevators too busy at times and staff were friendly. We observed some kids swimming unsupervised and had concerns about unsafe behavior. Positive items were

Girls Getaway

Very nice condo. Had great view of the beach. Everything was provided as stated in the description. Great location. Only drawback was the light coming in at night from the parking lot in the master bedroom sliding glass doors to the balcony. There was some construction going on, but it never disturbed us. As a matter of fact, we didn’t hear any of the noise from the construction unless we were on the beach.

Location location location

What a great time! The location of this unit in Orange Beach is awesome. Close to everything. The location of this specific corner unit in the building was awesome. Could see sunrise and gorgeous sunsets. You can tell the owners really understand this is your once a year or once every five years vacation and they want you to walk away with a great experience. Thank you to Al and Susu for sharing your beautifully decorated condo. Hope to come back again.

Great view and location

Had a very pleasant stay at this condo. We had family of 5 with kids between 10-16 years old. Condo has three bedrooms which was nice. It was well equipped, great view of the gulf, and location was great near restaurants, grocery store, and anything else needed. The pool was clean and we used every day on way back from beach. We also grilled out one night by pool and was nice to have grills close to pool to hang out while cooking. The owner was very responsive to my couple of questions. Thanks!

We enjoyed our time at this condo in Orange Beach. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. The balcony had a great view of the gulf. This condo is in a great location. We were in the heart of all the attractions we wanted to see (The Wharf, beach, Flora-Bama, an abundance of great restaurants).

We loved the condo! It was extremely clean, love the all white bedding! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen of any condo I have ever stayed at, and it has an icemaker! Will definitely book again!
