Vacation

Place was great! Only complaints we had were limited towels so we were washing them every day. Also the kids room would have been great for older kids room but I barely fit a pack n play in there for my little one and there were only lamps in the room. No over head light. Other than that everything was great! Love staying somewhere where it’s so sucluded and quiet.

Wonderful!

The condo was just lovely but it really only slept 4 adults comfortably. 2 of the beds were strictly for children, an adult wouldn’t fit! It worked out ok for us, 2 of our adults had to sleep on a not so comfortable bunk bed. Overall we were very pleased and hope to book it again.

Spring Break

The star wars room was cute But not enough light- room was too dark The condo offered a great view of the beach. However, the balcony furniture was minimal. A table and chair set would have been nice (like other condos on property). This condo was rated 2 stars due to lack of response from host. The pans where unusable, they were burnt inside out, the pan spatula where also burned so badly they had melted. And I question if the pans had been cleaned, because when we washed them- dirt was on the towel. Unfortunately, we used face towel to wash dishes, because no kitchen sponge or towel was provided. I contacted host to see if they could bring up some usable pans but after waiting over 24 hours we eventually went to store to purchase our own cookware. We also contacted host about the broken kitchen trash can foot step. But since no response we had to improvise. Below are other room observations: 1) there has been some serious water damage in condo- the master bathroom had mold around vents and hall bathroom doors buckled at bottom and all through you could see signs of water damage- which resulted in a musty weird smell inside condo. 2) The furniture was filthy- popcorn seats and the head rests were black on each of the couches. 3) curtains- dirty. Visible stains Lastly, while eating and watching TV the owner sent a maintenance guy to fix a previous renter complaint. This was an unannounced visit and unacceptable.

Great place

The Beach Club is so fun with so much to do. The condo was perfect! We had 2 families with 3 kids. They LOVED the Star Wars room. The condo is perfect! We were so pleased.

Catalina 610

We enjoyed this property. We traveled with two small children and the condo was set up very well to accommodate a family. The kids loved the bunk bed room and the extra bathrooms were a plus. We cooked the whole week and the kitchen was well stocked. I do recommend bringing your own dish towels, dish washer tablets, and dish soap. They provide starter packs. The property itself was very nice and had multiple pools and hot tubs we enjoyed. We never had to wait long on an elevator. My only con to staying here is that it was very far out from grocery stores and any attractions (around 20 min. Drive to the grocery store/Walmart), but there was a dollar store close by. The TV's having roku was a nice touch our kids enjoyed. The property manager was very quick to respond to me when we arrived and took care of a minor issue very promptly which we appreciated. Overall, great stay!

Some problems

The Floors were very dirty! Our feet were black! There was no dust pan! The command strips cut two of us in the shower! The showers are just too narrow for them there! The dryer broke! There was a coffee cup in the cabinet with the handle already broken off! We’ve stayed here before and loved it! Overall we loved our stay and hope to return!

We'll be back

This is by far the best condo and location we have stayed in around the Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan area. Our 9 year old LOVED the Star Wars room, and the views from the corner of Catalina were amazing. Huge wrap around balcony, the most comfortable furnishings, and a beautiful resort made this the perfect spot just a short boardwalk from the beach.

Condo excellent, amenities were the deal breaker

If I am just rating the condo itself, it was excellent. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Our 3 boys loved the Star Wars room and bunk beds. The pods in the wall made it where you could sleep 5-6 kids if you wanted. My boys rotated and slept in different places. The problem came regarding the amenities. We did not realize upon booking that in order to use the indoor pool, the game room, the outside clubhouse pool, or the fitness center… you have to pay a daily fee. It was 46 dollars per day. The staff was also kind of rude and unwelcoming. We were not aware of the fee until we got an email 3-4 weeks prior to arrival. Since the weather was cooler during our stay, we ended up not being able to use the outside pool. They claimed it was heated, but it was like ice water. Our boys were set on swimming so we paid the fee for a few days. The staff were not flexible. At one point we had purchased wristbands for the following day, and then decided to take a day trip to Mobile. He would not let us switch our wristbands to the next day. He was rude to me at one point, pointing at me and saying “how did YOU get in here?” as I was standing with my 3 little ones waiting on my husband to go get something from the condo. Also, the listing says there are 2 restaurants on site. The main one in the clubhouse was closed. The clubhouse is under construction. They playground was roped off with caution tape. Just did not have access to the amenities we were expecting. That was disappointing to us. I just did not feel welcome in the clubhouse either, despite paying the fee. And it is only open from 8-5… so if you want to work out after the kids go to bed, you can’t. One other thing, be aware that this property is a good 20 minutes from the main road in Gulf Shores. It takes 30 minutes at least to get to any of the restaurants or attractions in the area. For us, the daily fee to use the amenities, in addition to just feeling like the staff was unwelcoming… is a deal breaker. We won’t stay here again. The condo itself was PERFECT. I wish it came with all the amenities that were originally listed. Many of them were not available during our stay.

Best Place!

We love the beach and have stayed many different places. The Beach Club at Fort Morgan is the BEST! Lots of things to do on the resort!! Quiet, not crowded beaches!! My kids loved the Star Wars themed room!! The rooms were updated, clean, and super comfortable!! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

So clean, wonderful view, relaxing, great with young kids

Beautifully decorated condo, impeccably clean, lovely view, huge balcony so close to the beach---What was not to like?! We loved how the master & main living areas were all designed to allow you to constantly enjoy the lovely beach view. The place was well suited for us and our 2 young children. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils we needed (plus many more!) & all appliances/fixtures were in good working condition. The Star Wars room was a hit with our son & the creativity in the design was a special & unique touch--He will always remember "that cool Star Wars bed!" Much careful thought has been placed in decorating & equipping this lovely condo to be a great place for a family or a just couple were great memories can be made "gathered at the beach."

Perfect relaxing getaway

We had the most amazing time and property was perfect. Adults, teenagers, and kids all had the best time and enjoyed the home. The pools were very clean and the view was unbeatable. We were so thankful for such a comfortable place to stay. I'm usually ready to go home after about 3 days of a vacation but I enjoyed every single one of the 10 days we spent here. We loved it!!

Excellent vacation, amazing condo!

We just returned home from our annual week at Gulf Shores. This was our second year at The Beach Club. This unit was amazing and beautiful! Highly recommend. We have stayed many places and this was one of the best!

An amazing visit

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. The Star Wars bunk was a hit with the boys! The condo was remodeled with the perfect beach feeling. The kitchen and dining area contained an abundance of seating. The view was amazing. We all enjoyed our time spent there. ❤️
