The condo has a great location with very convenient beach access, a safe and family-friendly area, and a balcony we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the unit itself had several issues. The floors were dirty at check-in (though the manager had them cleaned the next day), only about half of the outlets worked, the door frames were damaged, and most of the door knobs were loose. We also noticed water damage and visible black mold under the kitchen sink, which was concerning.This condo has potential, but it definitely needs better maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

Would stay here again but some simple things like light could be upgraded or just changed. Simple things like instructions what the TV was connected to light switches being up or down wasn’t written anywhere so it took time to figure out why TV didn’t seem to be working and figuring out which light switches went to which lights were overly complicated.

Nice Getaway

This was our first time at Orange Beach and it did not disappoint. The condo was nice and we loved the view! The bed was too firm and the master bath has a few touches that needed updating (like an actual shower curtain). The kitchen was functional and again it would have been nice to have a better coffee maker and other utensils. The patio furniture was not comfortable and made it difficult to sit outside for any extended period of time. We loved the pool and beach access.

Overall, a great stay!

The location was perfect-- shops/restaurants within walking distance and the main drag of Gulf Shores is a quick drive/Uber ride. The unit itself was very clean and the bunk beds were perfect for a 13- and 7-year-old. The washer/dryer are full sized so that was definitely a plus. King sized bed in the master bed was comfy for a bigger couple and we appreciated the extra blankets. There are beach toys in the closet on the balcony too. You can get groceries and DoorDash to this unit which was awesome. I only gave the unit 4 stars because there were a few things that I felt frustrated by, but were essentially mild inconveniences. The kitchen came equipped with a set of steak knives and 2 bread knives, but no butter knives or anything for chopping or food prep. I had to buy a knife so I could cut veggies and meats. There wasn't a complete measuring cup set either so I found myself eyeballing a few things. It was really chaotic how the cookware was put away too--just no rhyme or reason to where things were stored. Additionally, the living room sofa sinks in--it could use some extra support or something under the cushions. The tubs/shower heads could use updating. My husband, who is 6'2", had to duck to get under the water properly. Overall, I would stay at the Phoenix again and probably even this unit again. I just think that a few updates would really have made all the difference. Beachball Properties was really easy to work with and I loved how communicative they are.

Great location

Great condo tastefully decorated, well laid out, nice sized patio to enjoy the sound of the waves. One recommendation is to invest in a foam topper for the King sized bed. Felt like we slept on plywood which proved to not be restful @ all.

We loved our stay in the Phoenix 1. The view was spectacular with doors to the balcony in our bedroom and the living room. The rooms were all spacious, and neatly decorated. We hope to return someday soon!

Great Location for kiddos

We enjoyed our vacation at the Phoenix. The condo was clean, spacious, and conveniently located. It had a pool (w shade) and a splashpad on way to the beach. Our only downfalls and reason we gave only 4 stars is the beds were not overly comfortable and the elevator takes forever. They only had 1 working elevator for all the condos and it was on the small side so you would have to wait awhile to go up or down.

Condo was clean and fairly comfortable

Outdated beds ( inner springs, really)! charging over $3,000.00 for out dated plumbing and tubs. unprofessional remodeling and painting. Shower had lukewarm water and fizzled stream. The lack of paper goods was annoying for the price. Maybe some people waste things. Over all very mediocre facilities and HUGE complex! We liked being on the beach. You had to pay $40.00 a day for chairs if you didn't lug your own back and forth to the beach. Could never give this a 4 star rating. Overall comfortable but no luxury. Expensive for what you get. Nice comfy couch and chairs.

20th yr year going to gulf shores

did not like the bar stools, and table on deck.Need a dark curtain on front bedroom.need new toilets in bathrooms,ring too small.need new large skillet,warped. stayed in gulf shores last year,ok with $12.00 parking fee, shocked with $54.00 fee this time.

Love that we have the beach view

View is amazing despite the bad weather, decor is amazing, place is clean, and love the security process they do. Overall our stay was great, wish they have military %, will definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to anyone 💕💕💕.

Beautiful condo and view

We had a great time at this condo. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We made good use of the kitchen for breakfast and lunch and there were several restaurants close by that we could walk to for dinner. It's very close to a Publix, so we filled the kitchen with groceries. The pool was nice and we could not ask for better beach access. We watched dolphins play every morning. Perfect beach experience!

Nice place to stay.

Really liked the decoration. It was close to Publix, right onthe beach, and was what we needed. There was still some sand on the floor, I don't know if that's a normal and inescapable fact of life for a beachfront condo, or if their cleaning service was rushed for time that day, but that's only a minor nitpick. Communication with Beachball Property Managment was great and I would be happy to stay at any of their properties again in the future.
