Family vacation

We had a great stay here. Rupa sent clear instructions for our stay. Great food and shopping close by (definitely eat at Picnic Beach!). The beach access is very close and the pool was nice after beaching all day. The home itself was pretty well stocked. It could use a clean out in the closet under the home so you can actually see what all is there. Nice they had beach chairs and an umbrella. Definitely bring an umbrella or two as the beaches there don’t allow pop ups along the surf line (only umbrellas). Our other family members rented a different unit in the same complex that wasn’t as well stocked as ours was.

Perfect location

Excellent property within easy walking distance to the beach and family-friendly restaurants. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood and has all the amenities needed for a family getaway. The owners' communication was thorough and timely, resulting in a seamless and wonderful experience.

Great location for families with kids

Great location with easy walk to beach and pool on site. Great setup for families with kids: Pack 'n Play and high chair for a baby, hallway bunkbed for older kids. Spacious and pleasant. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes. Super easy check-in. No issues.

Fantastic Family Fun

The description of the property was slightly incorrect, because the kitchen was so much better than expected. Fully equipped with everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals there, and had no issues with anything. The host responded immediately with any questions we had. Very spacious, great patio, plenty of extra space for family when they came to eat, or visit.

Clean and close to everything

We really love this location! It is perfectly situated a nice walk from the downtown area and a short drive to the fishing pier. Plus, the beach is across the street! The house is impeccably clean with plenty of room to spread out including a large patio and four full bathrooms. Although the weather was cooler than we would have liked, time spent in this beautiful home still felt like a vacation!

Nice place to work remotely too.

My wife and I have used VRBO rentals many times to get away from the winter weather. We stayed the entire month of February 2021 here. This home is by far the nicest place that we have stayed, and I will say that we have stayed at some very nice places. I am a remote worker using a computer and video meetings most of the day, and the Internet was excellent for the purpose. I say this, because I rarely see reviews that say anything about the Internet speeds. I was getting (unlimited data) 11 Mbs down and 70+ Mbs up, for those that would care about this need. For the house itself, it was very clean, has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you will need. I think we bought a few Tupperware dishes we found that we needed and left them there for the next people who may need them. The house has many comfortable places to sit for reading and the beds were comfortable as well. We are walkers and hikers, and the Alabama Coastal Trails are all nearby, we visited many wonderful spots in Florida, Alabama and Mississippi from this location. Plenty to see. It is also, like many have said, very conveniently located for the Gulf Shores beaches. The hosts couldn't have been any easier to work with, as I asked many questions before I choose the home for our stay. I only had a minor Internet glitch that was immediately solved by contacting them. They text you and email you much of the information about the area and the home ahead of time that you need to know. We enjoyed our stay very much, and highly recommend this place for others to enjoy.

A gem in Gulf Shores
