The deck furniture was very comfortable, and we loved the view of the ocean and even the sunsets from there. The house was awesome, everything we could have asked for. We've stayed in several other properties at the Plantation, and this house was by far the most enjoyable, and the location was perfect. We will be coming back for years to come.

This was perfect vacation for our family. We were four families with lots of kids. Played so much inside the house and made great memories. House is right at the beach and views are stunning. Kitchen is full with everything which helped us cook a lot and easily. Rooms were clean, everything was organized, AC/Heater were working and has good space for parking.Amenities are amazing as well. It was cold when we went but heated pool was bliss.Enjoyed the new year at The Wharf which was family friendly.We are definitely coming back.

Wonderful location, excellent communication

We have taken many beach trips, this was our first time staying in the Gulf Shores Plantation. The family loves tennis, so the tennis and pickleball courts right on the property was a welcome bonus. We also enjoyed relaxing in the several pools as well as access to the workout room. The winner is the beach. This seems to be a less crowded area of Fort Morgan. Even though we were there during peak summer season, the beach never felt crowded. Beach access is just a short walk from this unit. This property is exactly as described with a wonderful view right on the beach. We saw wild animals in the dunes between the house and the coast. Excellent communication with the property owner. There was one slight problem where we couldn't find the access keys for the gym and bands for pool, but that was quickly resolved. Overall a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Beautiful Home

This was the first time my family decided to stay in a house, and we couldn’t have made a better decision on where to stay. This house is in a prime location, and the view was spectacular! The walk to the boardwalk and pool was easy, and my family enjoyed our time so much. We are appreciative to the homeowners for allowing us to stay! They were responsive to all our questions, and made our stay all the more pleasant.

Great location, private, beautiful view, don’t pass on this!

This house was amazing to our family! We had a group of 18, (10 adults 8 kids ages from 16yr-4yrs old.) The house was very clean on arrival and plenty of seating and beds to accommodate a large number. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies. The company sent advanced emails with check in and out information that you need. The pool and beach area was within very short walking distance, they offer so many amenities in this location it’s truly amazing for all ages! It’s extremely quiet location (no road sound or sires) minimum vehicle movement w the houses near by and even when we had neighbors it was still peaceful! We will definitely be returning to this location! Extremely pleased with our stay!

Beautiful beachfront property! So convenient!

We loved our stay! Big enough for a comfortable stay for 10 adults and 10 kids. Just a short walk to the pool or beach. It was very quiet at the end of the culdesac, and beautiful views of the beach every morning. Also the large master closets worked great as bedrooms for babies in pack-n-plays. There were lots of stairs, and while they did provide baby gates, they weren't functional, so if you have littles, consider that. Overall, would rent again!

Family yearly vacation

The unit really worked for our family. It accommodated everyone as far as rooms. The complex was great for the entire family. Some didn't want to go to the beach, so the pools worked out for them. The gym was there for others who work out. I wish it was closer to the beach., But that's not a deal breaker. Could have had a little more attention to detail as far as cleaning, but it wasn't dirty by any means. The upstairs AC struggled to keep up, especially at night when everyone was trying to sleep. We had a couple issues that the management took care of fairly promptly. Overall it was a good stay. The family enjoyed it a great deal. We would book it again simply because it just fit everyone so well.

It was good. Appliances need updated. Showers and toilets need updated. Some lights were out in bathrooms upstairs. Was not given information about not needing parking passes. We need reimbursed for parking passes.

Great beach house, great location.

This was a great location. Close enough to all the main tourist spots and far enough away to not be too crowded. The home itself is very spacious and set up with everything our family needed. There was even Roku TV in almost every room for the down time. The boardwalk beach access is just two houses over so super convenient. It was aslo great to have use of the swimming pools, exercise room, tennis courts and other amenities of the complex while staying so close to the beach.

Family Vacation was a success

The house was perfect. The 2 refrigerators came in handy, one held all of our drinks, and the other was for food. The layout allowed for everyone to congregate together while family dinners and breakfasts were prepared, and noone missed out on the fun and laughter. The beach access was close, and we always had good "spots" on the beach. I would highly recommend this VRBO! Diana

Great Location

Great location! A few minor issues during our stay including some confusion at check in but all was dealt with swiftly by management. Clean space with awesome views. Comfy beds. Great water pressure. Super close to pool and beach boardwalk! Would definitely stay again.

Full Beautiful Views of Sand and Water

Excellent location for the beach house. All the amenities of the Golf & Gulf Resort come with this rental! Enjoying So many of them…truly helped all of us. I do believe the large front windows need to be changed out to view better from within the beach house. I took photos of the outside wooden window trim that needs attention… we didn’t want to be responsible. The property manager said in an email that he would have the problem addressed. I called for more items and we received what I had asked for…a new coffee maker (in the box) was one of the items needed. The bedrooms were set up nicely and there is enough bathrooms. Our family for the most part truly enjoyed this beach house…We would rebook this beach house too!

Disappointed Customer

When we arrived the property was not clean as it had roaches on the floor and in one of the beds and a pair of a prior guests underwear under the bed. Balcony lights did not work and internet and TVs were not working. Reported this to management company and it took two days before they sent someone out after telling me they would be out the next day. When the maintenance person arrived he did not fix anything and balcony lights were still out and left without even letting us know he was leaving and didn’t fix anything. Next day someone showed up to take a look at the TVs and still did not fix them or put lights in the balcony or deck so we could enjoy sitting outside at night. Amenities that were listed were not offered as only two pools were open and no hot tub was open. Still searching for the sauna and steam room that were on the amenities list. The sand volleyball court in the pool area is surrounded by stickers so every time the ball went outside of the court our kids got stickers. If it is a resort then why are their stickers surrounding the pool and volleyball area? Finally found the indoor pool but had no idea how to gain access to it. Never had enough hot water for everyone to showers. Parking for both sides of the duplex did not accommodate 38 guests. Three days before we were to leave I received an email from Bama Beach Houses asking how our stay has been going. I informed them of the all Of this and still have not received any communication back from them apologizing for the maintenance or lack there of of their facility. I would Not recommend staying here nor will I stay here again.
