Great place for family!!

This place was amazing. Had everything we needed. Very close to beach and pools. Centrally located to all restraunts and lots of things to do. Beautiful views. Very large patio, balcony with lots of seating. The condo was clean. The property was clean and very well kept, and everybody was very friendly. We can't wait to go back. This was a very great place.

Wonderful stay

There were 4 adults and 2 children, and plenty of room. We could have easily fit 2 more adults. The place was clean, comfy, and had wonderful air conditioning. Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. We had 0 issues during our stay. We would stay here again.

Great location

I don't know how they were able to get 3 bedrooms in this place & it still seem very spacious! The place is really great with fabulous gulf views from the balcony. There was even some beach supplies in the closet on the balcony that came in handy. I also really liked the extra ice maker. The only negative we had was the toilet in the main bedroom had difficulty stopping the water after flushed, mainly wasting water but it was also noisy. In the other bathroom the shower seemed to drip all the time. And the dishwasher was slightly difficult to get started. The pluses out weighed those minor issues & we would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunate Situation

Our vacation was ruined due to a flood this place had on an upper floor. To fix this they put obnoxiously loud blowers, dehumidifiers in our whole condo, we walked in wet cold carpet.. Everything was displaced out of the closets to the bedroom floors. We couldn’t put away our clothing so we walked around suit cases & a mess the whole time. The condo ended up being under construction. So we had 2 infants, being disturbed all day by constant grinding once they went back to work, our view from our balcony was looking through scaffolding along with the moving scaffolding right in front of our balcony the whole 3 day weekend. Not a view we were expecting. We had to Yell at each other the whole time that we was there, because we couldn’t even hear anybody from the living room to the kitchen over the large machines. Not to mention that this was our one vacation for this year. We had people coming in checking those machines when we was there & gone. We contacted someone everyday. No one could help, until after the holiday weekend. They finally offered to move us 2 days before we was leaving to a smaller place. We had 9 individual, too much stuff & hassle for 2 days. After the 3 day weekend still no call. We called again & we was told we would get a call from someone that could make decisions on refunding. All we ever got was an email for a 20% discount & this person never even ask what we had to deal with to make an offer. Very poor management in our opinion.

Not an ideal property

Unfortunately this is not a condo I would recommend. The second floor location directly over the kiddie pool is less than ideal if you would like any sort of quiet time from 7am-10pm. The sofa is not a sleeper sofa as described. There is not one cabinet available to store groceries in the entire kitchen. TVs in each room were helpful. The king size bed in the guest room has springs sticking out of it. And the guest bath has a layer of dirt that is visible in every corner. Roaches were also found multiple times in the very very dirty “cleaning closet” and on balcony. On to the security guard at the property…. There was one guard in particular that kicked the kids and ourselves out of the pool early every night. The second night, he saw the kids separated from us, but still in our line of sight, as they were looking at the security camera before we told them it was ok to get in the pool. This man creepily engaged the oldest child and asked him if they liked having their picture taken. Say what? Lastly, he then proceeded to yell up at us (on the 2nd floor balcony) to lower our voices when we were speaking at a normal volume right next to each other. Mind you, this is the 4th of July and there were many guests louder and fireworks being set off. Therefore, considering the condition of the unit, the constant harassment by the condo security guard, and the inflated price to rent because it was 4th of July, this was the worst trip we have ever had to Orange beach. And, we go at least twice per summer.

Beautiful condo!!

We’ve stayed in several condos over the years but this one was my favorite. There were 7 of us. We had plenty of room. The location is AWESOME!! Everything is within walking distance. 2nd floor is perfect!!!

Horrible Condition post hurricane

This property was NOTHING like it was described. There were stains all ovfer the bedding, ice machine was not working and there was unfinished drywall in the bathroom. This condo was not in a condition to rent post hurricane. It was a horrible experience.

Hurricane Evacuation was the best thing about our trip...

I did report all the following to the agency and they offered me a discounted future stay. However I would not stay in this location again For a discount. Kitchen cabinets/drawers were FILTHY. Hair and dirt. No functioning coffee pot. No gallon pitcher. Mildew in the sills of the fridge and washer and dryer smelled of mold and mildew. Bathrooms had hair and grime on surfaces. Floors were dirty. Carpet left my babies toes black after a few minutes on the floor. Balcony door lock was busted and wouldn’t lock. Internet/tvs were a nightmare. Cords and remotes for days resulting in mass confusion and me troubleshooting internet. Router wasn’t plugged up which wasn’t suprising; when I pulled back the tv stand there were 10+ cords going to who knows what all. Also mounds of filth back there. I dared not look under the couches or beds. Overall- I’m actually thankful Hurricane Sally forced us to leave after one night because this rental was a nightmare. I will invest more next trip and not look for a cheaper condo as you obviously get what you pay for.

Peaceful

The view was amazing! We simply walked downstairs and we were on the beach. The condo was great- TVs in each room. Everything we needed and very close to the heart of Orange, AL. Traveled with young kids, they loved the indoor pool while it was raining and the outdoor pool. Went to sleep listening to the sound of the waves. We can't wait to go back!

College Friends COVID vacation

We are a group of 4 college friends that do a vacation every year. This year with the COVID was more challenging but we decided a simple beach trip was doable. One of my friend's father recommended Gulf Shores, Alabama and my parents had friends that recommended Orange Beach. The beach is wonderful here and the area reminds me a lot of Myrtle Beach, SC. We prefer the Gulf side of Florida and decided to try the panhandle area. The Bluewater units are definitely older but many have been updated inside. It is a nice beach area and can walk both directions along the beach. It was more challenging to try and walk to a restaurant as there are no sidewalks along the road. We had to drive everywhere - unless we walked along the beach. We prefer to walk so that was a little disappointing. Due to the COVID and places having capacity restrictions, we typically had 1 hour + waits for food. This condo while not fancy was very acceptable and had what we needed. Seemed to need a few repairs but nothing that impacted our stay. We enjoyed the nice covered balcony that was on the beach side and overlooked the pool. It was a little disappointing the hot tub was closed but that was due to the COVID and no ones control. It was easy access to the beach and fairly easy to rent chairs and umbrellas. It was $35 for 2 chairs and an umbrella for 1 day. If you rent more consecutive days, the price goes down per day. Other activities we did in the area include going to Alligator Alley - can see many alligators, and we did a road trip to New Orleans (3 hours away) to see the National WWII museum and stopped in Gulfport and Biloxi along the way. Even with virus concerns and taking precautions with face masks, etc. we had a great time and would recommend for a beach vacation. Seemed to be lots of families vacationing there.

love the swing

Loved the swing on the outside porch as well as the high table and 6 chairs, even though the view was not the best - 2 big palm trees in front of this condo. The heated toilet seat in master bath was nice and perfect # of beds for 4 adults and 3 children. Being on 2nd floor was great, since we could take the nearby stairs up and down and not necessary to take the elevator. Having the indoor pool was really great! Because it rained our 1st day, so the children were happy to be able to swim, in spite of rain.

FILTHY

This rental was completely disgusting. From the room just being dirty, to bugs in the room, to filthy dishes put away with old food stuck. The grill was covered in nasty old food, it wasn’t cleaned at all it looked like

If you want quiet, then being this close to the pool is not for you. You might find some midnight to early in the morning The beach is wonderful. The place was very nice.

Great condo

We had trouble getting into the condo, the code that was given was incorrect or inactive. Once we finally reached someone (it was after business hours) they got us in the door with no problem. We went all Sunday and Monday with no WiFi because there was an issue with it and the office was closed and the owners had changed companies but not changed the signs inside the condo so we couldn’t even trouble shoot with the cable company. Not a huge deal except my husband was working remotely. Overall, once the office was open they were very helpful. The condo was clean and well furnished The kitchen had plenty of dishes. I felt the staff was properly addressing covid19 concerns with proper cleaning and spacing of public areas. the location is perfect! We would definitely stay here again.
