We recently stayed at this property and overall had a positive experience. The home is exactly as advertised, with beautiful ocean views that really make the stay special. The location is also a big plus—there are plenty of places within walking distance, and it’s very convenient to access the pools, hot tubs, and beach.The property is well-managed and very family-oriented. Security is present and does check for wristbands regularly, and the rules—especially around smoking—are strictly enforced, with smoking only allowed in designated areas. While this creates a calm and safe environment that’s perfect for families, it may not be the best fit for those looking for a more lively or party-style spring break atmosphere.One issue we encountered was that the refrigerator stopped working during our stay, which resulted in us losing a significant amount of food. Unfortunately, that was a frustrating inconvenience. Lost a great deal of money/food. Overall, this is a great place for families or anyone looking for a relaxing, well-kept environment by the ocean, just with the expectation that rules are strictly followed.

Great stay! Condo was super nice will definitely consider booking with Tim again!! Any issues we had he resolved quickly!! I will and no fault to Tim the owner but the pools were NOT kept very clean!! I added a picture of the kids pool with a bunch of gross stuff in it.

I don’t know what this giant gross thing is floating in the pool but it was there all day one day. Made us not want to swim!

Perfect Vacation!

This property was so nice and such a convenient location. My younger kids loved the bunk beds and the washer/dryer was so nice. The beach view is incredible. I will say the complex does have strict rules, requiring wrist bands while using the facilities. We forgot our wristbands a few times and was asked to get them by security. Not a big deal, just a little annoying. The beach access was so nice with plenty of hoses to rinse the sand off. The pool also has plenty of chairs to use. Definitely recommend for families.

Great location but desperately needs basic maintenance.

We like the lighthouse for its amenities and proximal location to the park for recreation. Its super kid friendly and folks are nice. #406 is in need of basic maintenance. Its a well worn, and thats clear in the stained sheets, worn off paint and floor grime from years of bleaching what is a greasy floor. The microwave vent cover fell on my kid the first day. Many door handles get stuck locked and we had some tricky business with the 2nd bathroom and bunk room. The access door to the master tub is unattachable. The oven was smoking when we turned it on. We came prepared to do a lot of cooking there, but my husband ended up scrubbing and working on getting the oven to work without it burning up a previous tenant's mess. This was the truly dissappointing part of our stay. Other than the outddated, dirty, or broken stuff, we had whatbwas a great vacation. Weather gods were kind to us. I hope you feel we left the place with one problem fixed. Thanks!

Great location

Location is great, the pools were great, the beach chair rental guys were amazing. The condo needs a deep deep cleaning. It could also use and update on furnishings. The bed in the master bedroom is listed as a king, but it was a queen. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets were not. The sheets for the 2nd bedroom were too small and the fitted sheet kept coming off. Not sure I'd choose this condo again, but I would stay at the Litghthouse.

GULF SHORES FAMILY TRIP 2024

This was our 3rd year traveling to Gulf Shores. This location had a much bigger beach area, and the amenities were exceptional. Our room was spacious and offered many kitchen items for daily living. The view was fantastic, and the patio was spacious. Melodee's communication was top notch. The check in process was easy and there is plenty of parking in their huge parking ramp of many levels. It was a secure and safe environment. Lighthouse is the best place we have stayed at so far on our journeys to the Gulf. The location is near all of the stores and restaurants that are popular on Beach Blvd.

Location was excellent, close to many restaurants, easy walk. Condo was not very clean. Splatters on walls and cabinets in bathroom, dust on walls. 2 different maintenance workers showed up without any notice. Could really use some sprucing up. Great mattress in master bedroom.

Group vacation

My family and a few friends stayed here and it fit the 7 of us perfectly. May need a little updating, such as paint on the walls, we noticed some drywall repairs not completed. Communication with owners was spot on, security on site was great, super friendly and funny! Great location. Our only complaint we had is the cleanliness of the pools and hot tub, which isn’t at fault of the condo owners. But definitely the pool and hot tub could use a little more attention with cleaning. Hair and just gross floating at the top of the pool. The skim of dark colored film on top of the water of the hot tub wasn’t pleasant. Needless to say we did not use it. We did see gentleman early in the morning vacuum the pools briefly.

Great condo and amenities.

Property is fantastic, very clean and secure. Amenities are great. Condo was very nice, small things that could be fixed or updated but did not detract from our stay. You will need to bring your staples....laundry soap, hand soap, trash bags, toilet paper. Master bed slept like a dream. I highly recommend Lighthouse Condos.

Family ball tournament trip

Condo was very nice for a family. A queen bed in extra bedroom would be nice instead of double. Dishes, utensils, pots & pans sufficient. Someone has ruined the skillet so it does make the food stick. Otherwise had all the dishes 8 people needed. Liked the grills. Pools were gorgeous! Loved the walk in pool! Loved the location & plenty of elevators! I have never stayed anywhere where there are 3 elevators in the middle & then one on each end of the condos! Big complex. Would definitely stay again & recommend to others!

Great Stay!!

Great GREAT place! I went with a group of 5 adults and it was perfect for us. The beds are comfortable, the pull out couch was so convenient. Very clean! The condo is MUCH MUCH better than what is shown in the pictures! Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and towels. One thing I will say is there is no paper towels (except one roll) No garbage bags (except the one already in the trash), and no extra toilet paper, so I would say buy some before you go. My group bought that kind of stuff and we left it all there for the next guests. Walking distance to sooo many things, easy checkin process, and easy parking process! PERFECT! We definitely will be back!
