Paradise

I quite literally felt like I was in paradise. Everything is so beautiful. The beach is maybe a couple hundred feet away from the door. Very easy to just come back for lunch and go back out to the beach.You can really spend as much or as little as you want here. Since there’s a kitchen, we didn’t have to spend much on food. but there are restaurants on the resort and a coffee shop with ice cream if you don’t feel like cooking. We rented chairs for a day, which was totally worth it. When we got tired from walking or swimming in the ocean, we would rest in the chairs for a bit.I have a role that I never visit the same place twice. I plan on coming back here for sure.

Beautiful Beach View

Loved the condo. My family read the reviews and after working with Jackie over a number of years for rentals we confirmed with her there were no hidden fees. Although the booking site said this was a 3 minute drive it was actually right on the ocean and only a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. We love the beautiful ocean view from the balcony. Plenty of amenities with no extra charges, including fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and games. Thanks for another wonderful stay. We will be back again next year!

Not Impressed

Vrbo advertised no hidden fees, However there was an additional $300 in extra fees. The resort also charged for parking. The pictures of the unit we rented were obviously older.

Beautiful Beachside Resort

Staying at the Plantation West resort is our favorite. Beautiful beach view, easy walk to the beach plus option of swimming in the pool or enjoying the hot tub. The grounds are clean and well kept and the staff is very nice. We also like that the Plantation is away from the main crowds of Gulf Shores but only a 15-20 min drive away if you want to go to there.

Beautiful facility and great beach access

The property and condo that we stayed in was beautiful. Balcony provided a great view of the ocean & 2 of the pools on the property. Beach access was right across the walking bridge. The facility has on-site laundry, multiple outdoor grills & adequate parking. Our condo had plenty of kitchen accessories....making it easy to prep & cook meals. Condo was very clean. The only con is the property is 15 miles off of the strip. So make sure you have everything you need each day before heading back or else you will pay highly inflated prices if you have to stop closer at a convenience store.

Overall property was great. Minor issue with the toilet day 1, but was resolved quickly. Property manager was less than friendly and very condescending, when we alerted her of the problem. That was disappointing, but she did get the issue handled. Rest of the stay was great.

Could be better equipped

Vacation was good. There could have been a couple of pot holders, a potato peeler, a Collander, a pan for the toaster oven, and a small pan in the kitchen. Not everyone cooks on vacation like we do, but why have a kitchen if it is not stocked with the essentials.

The proximity to the beach and the view where great! The carpeted floors needed vacuuming and the shower and sink drains had hair and debris in the screen traps.

Highly recommend

Great place to stay! All check in instructions were emailed and very easy to understand. Check in process went smoothly because of this. My family enjoyed being able to walk to the beach at anytime and also having multiple pools on location to enjoy. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay

Was very much a great rental for the price! Condos in Gulf Shores were a $100 or more a night. We had 2 14 year old boys with us and they had a blast even though we were not in town where we would have worried about them on their own. The beach was not to crowded like town and plenty of other things to do.

Very nice place to get away

Enjoyed our stay, condo was what you would expect from a rental. Needed some paint and a carpet cleaning in the living area plus some items like a toaster weren't provided. But, overall a very nice stay and I would book this unit again.

My experience with renting property was very wonderful,checking in at the gate was quick and simple due to the preprinted paperwork and doing parking payment on the web. The condo is in a wonderful area and had very friendly and polite people. Kids enjoyed the pool area and beach area, we will be returning very soon.

Great place!!

The property was great! I was sent several emails about construction but it wasn’t loud and wasn’t an issue. The condo had some updates and was great!!! The location to the beach was perfect!!! It was a short walk. This property was perfect for our girls weekend. I will definitely stay here again.

Very Fun Week Away

We had a great time. Rooms are a little small, but we weren't really there much, so it didn't matter. Beach time was limited due to jellyfish, but that's mother nature.
