Family Beach Fun

This room was the perfect size for our family of 4. It gave everyone room to spread out, and the views were wonderful. We enjoyed the pools onsite and the beach was exactly what we were looking for.

Not Relaxing with BEEPING NOISE & 7am Housekeeping KNOCKING

We got to The Beach Club around 130pm however our check in was at 4pm so we waited patiently, and decided to check out Fort Morgan with the kids. We were exhausted from travel, unloading, and were looking forward to a good nights rest. That never happened as we had a beeping noise all night long. It was one beep followed by 2 beeps every 5 minutes all night long. Reached out to the listing agent the next day, and after some texting she advised us to cut off the breaker to the living room (so no more WIFI or TV.) Next night we just left the breaker off however we were awoken at 7:19am by housekeeping asking us when we were leaving, and again around 8:45am! I thought this was super rude considering our check out was 10am, and we were trying to enjoy the last few hours of our stay. I contacted the listing agent again about this without a reply for several hours later, and really no true concern. I would NOT recommend staying in this unit as I have stayed in much nicer at The Beach Club, and never dealt with housekeeping waking us up to ask us when we were leaving. I thought this was super rude! Also the dishes smell like fish, and I was unsure how "clean" the unit was.

Great except for the smell

Everything was great except for the smell. 3 friends stayed for a few day getaway. The description is accurate, convenient, location and overall clean. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable, but everything else checked out except for an extremely strong smell that hits you as soon as you open the door. It took me a couple of hours to realize that is smelled like a Goodwill store. I can only assume that a lot of the furniture was purchased at a local thrift store. It was super overbearing to the poit that we slept with both balcony doors open to help lesson the smell. Could do with a deep clean as well.

This is our second time at Beach Club. We like being on the quiet end of Gulf Shores. The property is family friendly and walkable to the beach. A great place to stay and relax.

Cozy Retreat

This location is amazing as you have full frontal views of the beach and the bay to the back. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in a few nights of our stay. There were also games for the kids to play. Each night the Beach Club has activities, music, and food so you don't need to leave the site (Very kid friendly). My only issue would be that the bath tubs were slow to drain (clogs) and the throw carpets were pretty worn and dirty. If we go back, we would rent again.

Anniversary Getaway

The property and the unit were perfect for a couple or a slightly larger group. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was ample space in the pantry/ laundry area. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained. The common areas of the building and the exterior grounds were also well maintained. Rental of beach chairs was easy. One small issue — no fitness center without a stiff price. I recommend the Bon Secour nature refuge for a run or hike — 2.5 miles to the East. Closed to traffic — gravel/ packed dirt trail that leads to a platform where you can spot birds and other wildlife or hike further to a secluded beach area.

Place is nice but don’t think we would go back. Be aware that your name will not be on the list at the date until updated at 10:00 am day of arrival. We had driven through the night and got there early just needing to park and get out of the car but weren’t on the list. This also made us panic a little thinking something may also be wrong with our reservation. The man at the gate was not helpful and somewhat rude. We ended up getting in after we were told we needed to call which we did. Once we got into the condo, which was ver nice and had a beautiful view, we were unimpressed with the cleanliness. There was a pile of sand/dirt that wasn’t swept up. Some dishes had a funky smell. It just didn’t appear that although you pay a cleaning fee, attention the detail was lacking. Our other issues was beach supplies. We are used to the places we rent having some chairs, toys, towels, etc. If we had flown instead of driven (which we typically do fly), I’m not sure what we would have done. We were aware so we packed things we bought prior to leaving but not exactly ideal when we don’t need beach chairs at home. We did purchase and appreciate the chair service offered on the beach but if you don’t want to do that you have to bring all of your beach supplies. The area is also just a little too far away from restaurants for us. Many places are at least 15 if not 25-30 min away. Appreciated the communication and quick responses from the owner.

Guard staff when we arrived were not friendly and spoke rudely of our property manager. Guest showers curtain needed to be replaced. Workers showed up to work on hurricane door at a bad time but we let them come in anyway even though we didn’t know they were coming. We still enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Almost perfect!

Only 2 elevators working at first and then both of them went out. Very difficult for a 74 yr old recent bypass patient to get back to them room. Walking up 9 flights of stairs was very difficult. Thankfully they had one fixed before ck out.

Girls trip

My 2 friends and I rented this places for a weekend getaway. The condo itself is nice. There was everything we needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast and lunches. Master bed was nice and comfy. Great water pressure in both bathrooms. Getting on and off the elevator was pretty easy. I feel that this place is in the perfect location for a relaxing a peaceful visit. We didn’t use any of the amenities so I can’t comment on them. We spent the entire time on the beach. I’ll be back with my family for sure!

A getaway in nature

On top on a great condo, a facility with a wide range of on campus activities, and great food; it is located far away from the tourist areas in Gulf Shores which mean you get to see tons of wildlife. My friends and I had a great time and I’d suggest it to anyone!

OASIS JUST FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM HOME

Our condo was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Well equipped. VERY CLEAN and UP TO DATE!! It was my daughter’s first vacation since having her first child 6 weeks ago. The only complaint I have is that the site lists that there is a restaurant on site, which would’ve been VERY convenient with a newborn but it wasn’t open. They did have the “tiki bar” open but that is pool side, not sit down and eat. Other than that, our experience was 10/10. We will definitely be back starting a new family tradition with our new little addition!!

Very nice!

We booked this last minute so that we could stay in the same complex as other family. We loved the view! Master king bed was very soft compared to home, but we found it comfortable. Our two teens stayed in the other bedroom with two twin beds. Even though it was Spring Break, The complex was quiet and we never had to wait for an elevator. The heated pool was only offered if you paid the daily fee. Although being from Michigan, our kids swim in the ocean and I heated pool. It is about a 20 minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants. While driving from Michigan, I placed a curbside order at Target and picked it up passing through on our way in. Our family also enjoyed touring the Fort Morgan at the end of the peninsula. We would recommend for sure!

Great vacation

No complaints with the condo - worked perfectly for our family of 4. Beach was great. The outdoor pools are not heated so If you go in colder months, be prepared to pay extra for the heated indoor pool and heated outdoor pool at the Beach Club.

Fabulous Vacation

We had a great time! The Beach Club is an awesome place to stay and this condo was perfect for our family ranging in ages from 8-70. The view was incredible with a huge balcony and beautiful beach. The condo had plenty of room for us and all the necessities. The only drawback was too much light coming in the second bedroom from the hallway, it could use some curtains. Check in was super easy and the drive into town for groceries/restaurants was only about 15 minutes, totally worth it to stay on a much less crowded beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice condo

Comfortable bed, soft pillows. Nicely decorated, large tv's, nice patio furniture. Decent size. Great views. Cleanliness was mostly on point. Nice selection of books and movies in case of rainy periods. We actually added one of our own movies to the collection. The shower head in master bath needed replaced -we used the second bathroom to shower, as it was only me and my husband, so this was a non-issue. The Beach Club was under construction while we were there. This was overall not an issue and we honestly barely noticed it. Gardeners were also there during our stay. Nice to see improvements and upkeep to one of our favorite vacation spots. The property manager, Pam Martin, is always pleasant and takes care of any issues quickly. We would most definitely stay in this condo again if it is a trip with just me and my husband.

Great weekend girls trip!

We loved our stay! The room was great! The only down side was not having all the amenities listed. We only had access to the pool in front of the condo. The other pools, club house, restaurant, bars and gym were extra $$$$ and they charged per day which would have added up fast so it would have been nice to have that already handled for you especially since that was one of the reasons we booked this place. All in all we’d book this place again. We love being in fort Morgan away from it all! And our view was beautiful!

Relaxation

The property is great! Even though there was some construction going on during our stay, it in no way infringed on our visit. The condo is small but clean and nicely appointed with comfortable furniture and beds and also has a well stocked kitchen for folks (like us) that like to cook in. On the 9th floor you are high enough to be out of the noise and the views are great! I would recommend packing in whatever you need- as the closest stores are about 20 minutes away. For someone looking for a getaway that is out of the hubbub of the tourist attractions, this spot is perfect!
