We loved this house!! Our family of four (two young-ish) kids and our dog visited for 5 days and it was a perfect fit for us. The space was cozy, clean and everything functioned as it should. The beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and we loved having the ceiling fans everywhere! We enjoyed spending time on the dock searching the waters for jellyfish, hermit crabs and fish. We come to Fort Morgan often but have never stayed on the bay side before. This was a nice change of pace, different views and Bon Secour entry points were a close enough drive that we didn’t miss a thing. Thank you for opening your home to us! It was a treat!

We had a great time. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Sitting on the deck overlooking the water was so relaxing. Lots of restaurants close that are dog friendly.

Amenities were basically non existent. No coffee, no tea, no sugar, sweetner, creamer. Motel size bar soap, etc. We have been better accomodated at a one night motel stay for half the nightly cost.Better maintenance. No outside lighting over the extensivesteps to the entrance door or back deck.

Our week here was very relaxing! Being steps away from the bay/water was wonderful & being able to fish from the dock was fantastic. We loved seeing dolphins playing every day & the herons that frequent the area. Being able to watch the sunrises & sunsets from the property was amazing. Being able to sit on the deck or downstairs patio & enjoy the view all day is our favorite thing about the property. (Our only disappointment was the mold that we saw on all of the A/C vents.)

Disappointing

House was not well maintained or clean. Unsafe conditions outside due to not having lighting on the pier or anywhere outside the house. Very limited kitchen supplies. Yard needs attention along with the inside of the home. The laundry unit is outdated and rusted, and the laundry area is disgusting. The upstairs bedroom did not have blinds only shears. It took pest control 4 visits before they got the palmetto (cockroach) situation under control. This could be a nice home, but the owner obviously doesn't care to put any money back into it.

Great place to stay!

We loved this house! It was great! Our 16 year old and my husband caught so many fish off of the pier at all hours of the day. I loved the décor in the house! It was a short drive to the beach and everything you could need is within a ten minute drive. Great place!!!!

Cute spot on the water

We had a very nice and peaceful stay. Lots of room and perfect for a small family. Very close to Fort Morgan Beach. Only negative was the tv in the living room but not that big of a deal because we were there for the view. Easy check in and no problems at all. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot

We loved this location! We made the short drive to a lovely beach each morning and afternoon and enjoyed the views of the bay while at the house. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for our small family. You do have to walk through the bedroom with two twin beds to get to the other upstairs and bathroom. It was not a problem for us, but something good to know ahead of time. We would stay here again!

Needs updated

It could be a nice house. Not sure how pictures are taken to make it look better than it is. We recently came down and drive past. I see the homes painted and some decking replaced. All decking needs replaced. The carpets in the pictures hopefully were cleaned because they were dirty and really don't match anything. Hopefully a new cleaning service was established. We won't rent again, just come and say hi to Jimmy!

Privacy with a view

We really enjoyed this bay front home. Our favorite thing about this home was the location! Beautiful view, away from the crowd, plenty of space for parking and turning around our kayak trailer. We also enjoyed the spacious living area with lots of comfortable seating to enjoy family time! The kitchen was well equipped, a plus for us because we like to cook our own meals. It fit our needs very nicely!!

Winter Va-Ca in Gulf Shores

Beautiful location, super close to a dog friendly beach, plenty of room for all of our needs. Any and all issues were dealt with in a quick response. I would highly recommend this property.

cold & windy

came in Jan, thought it would be warmer/ we were there for 17 days and saw the sun for a total of 4 hours. Many of restaurant's were closed. Those that were open gave no discount for off-season. It was a very quiet place to stay... fun to watch the birds fishing, however we had no luck, with crab or fish . if you are looking to veg in a nice, clean house... this is it in January.

Clean and comfortable stay

This property is close to everything, but not in the middle of the tourist area of Gulf Shores. It was clean and has an updated bathroom and kitchen. The only criticisms I have is that the glass side entry door neet a privacy shade and the laundry area needs to be updated. For the price and location, I would recommend.

Great for price, could have been better

The stay was fine. Went for fishing but weather was bad most of week. Great family time. The only downside had nothing to do with the place but the house being built 40 ft away. If you don't mind construction noise then this place is good for fishing.
