Paul is a very good host, kept in touch, was responsive to questions....and, tolerated a nervous renter very well. The home was perfect for our needs, it was clean and had a very comfy king sized bed in the master suite. Our pups had room to roam, and loved the warm walks on the beach which really is just a short walk. The dunes are beautiful and the beach was very nice and natural. Oh the kitchen is very well equipped, we had everything we needed to cook meals. I would definitely stay here again.

The front deck, comfortable furniture on it, and great view are enough to make me give this five stars, but the inside living area is great, too! Kitchen has anything you could need. The hosts were quick to get check in info to me even though I booked at the last minute. It takes a one minute to get to the beach, and it’s a perfect beach spot to watch the sunset. Also very dog friendly. I loved that hot water outdoor shower to rinse the sand off in a little bit chilly weather! Highly recommend!

Absolutely soul rejuvenating. Amazing home and host. Perfectly located very close to the beach and plenty of places close to eat. Home has everything you need and want. Entire family had the time of our life and hated to leave.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay at As good as it gets. Very short walk to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the front and back decks and the outdoor furniture. The beach wagon and grill were useful as well.

“As Good As It Gets”

Definitely would rent again and recommend this property. The pictures are deceiving in a good way. It was so much nicer. The walk to the beach was closer than appeared in the pics. The Hendersons were so nice. Thank you so much!!!

It really is “As Good as it Gets”!

The house was lovely, tastefully appointed and included many of the amenities we didn’t expect! Extra blankets, coffee bar and full kitchen were amazing! The trash service was a special extra touch. We enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this amazing home, steps from the beach! It was hard to leave, but we did start planning our 14th annual return trip and hope this house is available again. Very gracious hosts! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach escape with our family. We made many treasured memories and look forward to more!

Fort Morgan Vacay

The house was just perfect for 6 adults. Location was great and just quick walk to the beach. It’s on a dead end road so not a lot of people. The house is fully stocked with variety of pans, new appliances, and new queen bunk. The AC was also very good. House was nice and cool. The host was excellent and very responsive to our questions and needs. Overall, we were very happy with the house and would recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway

This house is perfect for a fun beach getaway. The kitchen is nice and fully stocked including kids plates and cups which my kids loved, the beds were so comfortable, and the swings and hammock downstairs were one of our favorite spots. The house is a super quick walk to the beach and you can even see it from the balcony with your morning coffee. We can’t wait to come back!

This is our 2nd yr renting this house, and we love it!! House is wonderful! Kitchen is amazing! Love that the outside shower has hot and cold water. Great view of beach from the front porch. Very close walk to beach!

Great house in a prefect location.

This place was very nice and clean. It was well stocked with everything that was needed for cooking. The location is prefect and you can view the gulf from the deck and listen to the waves, or sit under the house in the swings. This place has more than enough room to spread out with your family. Anytime I had a question, Jenn was fast to respond and very pleasant to deal with. We will definitely plan to book on our next trip. Thanks again.

Very pleased with our stay. 5th trip to gulf shores area and this was the cleanest house yet!! Very very close to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Beds comfortable. Tall people did not like little shower so used the one in master bath. Thanks!

As good as it gets...

We were there for 8 nights in October and everything was wonderful. The house is clean, well maintained, well appointed and in a great location. The owners are very friendly, very responsive and very communicative. We couldn't be happier with our choice to have spent our vacation savings and time here.

Great Spur of the Moment Trip With Our Daughter and SIL!

House was set up nicely and well-equipped. Nothing fancy but decent. Carpet and furniture were stained here and there, but nothing awful. The only negative we experienced was the kitchen not being as clean as we're used to. The first thing that hit us was the smell of steamed seafood as soon as we opened the fridge door. It was so overwhelming, we went and got a huge box of baking soda. I put it in bowls inside the fridge and in the main kitchen and living area. It helped some, but the smell was still there when we left. There were also bits of shrimp legs, etc. and crumbs in several areas inside the fridge. After traveling to get there and unpacking, I didn't enjoy taking door shelves out and soaking them, but I did it. Then there was the stuck on food in the dishes and the pots and pans were greasy inside and out. Yuck. Fortunately, we were not there to cook. Also, dishes were left in the dishwasher. Clean? Dirty? For a cleaning fee double what we're accustomed to paying, we weren't expecting to do so much of it ourselves. The housekeeper left an envelope for us to tip her. Sorry. Not warranted. On the positive side, they have a Keurig and a nice selection of coffees. Other pluses, the Mstr Br bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Our last afternoon there, the AC unit froze up. The temp got up to 86, inside the house so we turned it off for about a half hour. Thank God for the fabulous breeze! We called to report it and were put directly in touch with the owner who was very nice about the whole thing, and assured us he would send someone immediately. About that time we turned it back on and it worked perfectly. In all fairness the weather was really hot while we were there. Would we stay there again? Judging by the overall time we had there with the kiddos? Hell yeah!

Last summer get away

It was a great time. The owners made sure our stay was homey. It was a very short walk to the beach. The wagon really helped carrying the kids toys down to the beach. It was a perfect stay, we will be back.
