Good view

Great view from the balcony, great communication with any questions or changes. Very quiet while we stayed there. Not too long a walk to the beach or pool. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall, the condo was great! The location, size of property, gated access, security, pool. The balcony on the condo was the best feature! We spent many nights and mornings enjoying the patio and the furniture was perfect. The AC was freezing cold the whole time, and the starter toilet paper, paper towels, soap was greatly appreciated. All of that being said, the beds/mattresses were absolutely horrible. The sofa bed in the living room, you could feel every spring in it and looks like it’s 20 years old. The mattress in the bedroom is lumpy and has a hole where you slide to the middle. The bunk beds aren’t even a full twin length, and it should be specified those are for children no older than 8 years old. The top bunk is impossible to sleep on and way too hot up there. The curtains in the room need to be upgraded to darkening and the blinds in the living room were broken/missing so there was always light coming in early in the morning. The appliances could be upgraded. The dishwasher and washer are incredibly loud. One burner on the stove can’t be used. All of that you can deal with and understand, but the beds are disgraceful. If the beds and curtains were fixed, we would absolutely stay again.

Unfortunately we elected not to stay here because of a mold related issues. After traveling for half the day with my family which includes 2 small children (1 1/2 & 7), we arrived around dinner time to find a closet ceiling covered in mold.I’m sure the response to my review will be that I was given options and they responded quickly to the issue. They will be apologetic and state they can’t catch everything. Here were my options…refund for 1 full night or refund for the whole trip. Response time I was originally told would be 30min to assess the situation. In a later message from the owner, it sounded like actual response was within the hour. While quick, per the lady I spoke with, they didn’t know if they could remedy the issue.Anyways, I elected to forego our stay here due to the mold. There was no guarentee the mold issue could/would be resolved. I requested they refund in full, which they did promptly. I also requested monetary assistance with the need to book a new room for the night. Never stated a dollar figure, just asked if they would consider. I at this point had incurred a higher cost room and the cost for a family of 4 across 2 meals. Needless to say they felt their response was adequate and enough. Literally zero consideration for what it put me through.Moral of the story, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend booking with this owner in any capacity. At the end of the day, I received empty apologies and a couple of days of chaos.

Perfect place to ride bikes & enjoy the beach

We rode our bikes every morning at Gulf Shores park. They have great trails. Enjoyed the beach & the waves plus the pool was wonderful. The deck is ideal for sitting outside without being in the sun.

Girls Trip

Enjoyed staying at this condo for a quick girls trip. Condo was great and enjoyed the curved balcony a lot. Only complaint (which is personal problem really) is that if you are over 5’1” the bunkbeds are too short. Easy walk to the beach and was nice having security around throughout the day keeping an eye on things!

Nice property, just at needs a little TLC and updating. Everything we needed and wonderful communication with owners assistant. The balcony was the best part and where we spent most of our time. Comfortable, sturdy furniture on the deck and amazing views. Thanks for letting us visit.

Very nice

We had a very nice stay here! The place was clean and had more than enough space for the two of us. The pool and beach location made it even better. The hosts had some beach / pool toys and some containers to take lunch down to the beach with us. The location on the beach had chairs to rent for a reasonable price. And for Labor Day weekend, the building was quiet. Don’t miss the carts the building has for moving your stuff up!

Nice view, but needs updated

The balcony was nice, but the condo needs some TLC. There were a number of little things that needed to be fixed or replaced. Management replaced the washer & dryer the day after I told them it didn't work.

One night stay

We were pleased with everything. We took the kids to the Waterpark so we knew we would be tired. We booked at the last minute because we didn’t want to drive 3 hrs . Great location. Very clean. We loved the view.

Pool almost ready

I am so thankful that you notified me about the pool and thank you for the consessions you made. Im a little old lady so it took me a while to figure out the tv in living room. Loved the ability to rock many condos only have straight back chairs. I thought it was cool that the thermostat lets one know the patio door is unlocked. Great view and sunshine on the balcony. Very comfy stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jeff's Tradewinds condo. I have to say that communication between Jeff and his secretary was awesome! Our building had a lot of projects going on while we were there and they kept us informed as did we with them. We were disappointed the pool was closed but Jeff made it right by paying for us to use the Aquatics center for the month. We really enjoyed the Center. The condo was very comfy and clean. The bed was really comfy. Felt like I was in my own bed. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels for us. Loved having both a walk-in shower and a tub. The view from the balcony was our favorite part. Ate many breakfasts and watched sunsets from the deck. The balcony chairs were very comfy. We would highly reccomend this condo. Great for a couple or a small family. Never had to wait long for an elevator either. Very close to the beach and we felt very safe. Was great to be able to watch the Mardi Gras night parade from our parking lot. Didn't have to deal with any traffic. Shopping and restaurants are all close, too. Just a perfect getaway!
