There is a reason Pelican Landing is a 10 out of 10... We had a wonderful stay and really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the host here. Leah was very good at communicating and the cottage was well furnished for our family. We would definitely come back if we ever get the opportunity! My only complaint is that it is so far away!

Beautiful, clean home in quiet community!

So our family has stayed in quite a few homes over the last several years and we have usually had something about the place that we didn’t like or maybe a few things that it cud hve had for amenities and this time around my husband and i agreed that we didn’t have any complaints about this house! It was clean and comfortable and had all the things in the kitchen that we needed to make our breakfasts! We ate out for suppers! The hostess was very responsive and helpful when asking her questions about a few things that we had seen outside in the pics but then couldn’t find once we arrived…some of the toys are no longer available due to storms tossing them around….just a short stroll to the swimming pool and a couple minutes drive to the beautiful beach on the ocean side! We would highly recommend this place and hope to come back again!!😃

Ideal vacation

We enjoyed a great vacation at a prime site near the beaches of Fort Morgan, AL. The property was perfect for a family - near the beaches and multiple pools within walking distance. I highly recommend it.

Great space for the week!

We stayed with 3 adults, 1 teen and 3 children under 10. This was a home run! From the spacious living room, bunks for the kids, 2 large bathrooms-it was everything we could ask for. Close walk to the small pool and a short 4 min drive to the beach! Our whole crew enjoyed the stay very much. The only downfall was it took about 20 min to get into town, however, we cooked a lot so it wasn’t too bad. Would definitely book with the host again! LOVED THE HOUSE!

Very pleased with stay

Only downside was the beach was a haul with little ones and golf cart rental was pricey. Everything was as listed and we would stay there again. Weather was crappy our stay but that wasn’t anyone’s fault. Home owner had a very nice binder with places, entertainment, beach pictures and restaurants to visit while there very helpful and accurate! We were ages 62-5 and more that plenty of space for three adults and three children!

Can’t say enough about this place.

We had an absolute wonderful time. The home was perfect for our party of 7. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. One of my favorite spots on the trip was on the screened porch in the mornings. Perfect place for coffee and a little time in my Bible. Leah was so easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to any questions we had considering she was on vacation herself. We were amazed at the little details that were considered for our stay. This was the first time I have not had to stock my own paper towels and toilet paper. That sounds simple but it was more than that. There was coffee and dish detergent amongst many other items I’ve always had to provide on our stays. Very thoughtful of as a host for sure. It was a quiet community. The kids loved the pools. The drive over to the beach was short. The parking was a little tight over at the beach but we found there was also another beach access where parking was permitted on the sides as long as you were not blocking the street. We have stayed in Fort Morgan and Gulf shores many times as well as other places through VRBO. We have only ever had one bad experience with a host but I have to say Leah may have been the best experience we have had yet. We would definitely love to come back for future stays!

Amazing!

This property was amazing.The community was quiet and everyone was friendly. The house had everything we needed, check in/out was a breeze. Leah was super helpful and so sweet to help us with anything we needed. My kids LOVED the bunk beds and both swimming pools. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you're looking for a low-key, less touristy area that's super close to the beach. Thanks so much, Leah!

Perfect family getaway

The location of Pelican Landing was perfect for our family with a quiet beach just minutes from the cottage yet close enough to all the attractions in Gulf Shores. The cottage and neighborhood were clean and just as the listing described! Comfortable beds and fully stocked with all we needed for the week. We will definitely be back again!
