Sunshine on my Shoulders is an adorable beach house. Very spacious and love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Upon arriving, the floors were dirty, to the point that my son’s feet were (grossly) dirty after being there an hour (he’s a toddler and took his shoes off as soon as we got there). I notified the property manager when she checked in with us about that and some stains on the bedding, which she was very nice about and offered to have the cleaning lady come back for, but once our group was in and unloaded, we didn’t really want to deal with someone being there to clean. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots/pans needed to cook. Lots of games and books available on the bookshelf which was nice. The A/C was set to 72 and would not go below 70. As a family that keeps our A/C at home set to 67-68 year round, we were hot most of the week and this information would be nice to know ahead of time (in the listing perhaps?) as we’ve never encountered that before while staying at the beach. The walls and baseboards could really use a deep cleaning, as there are visible stains. Obviously that didn’t effect our stay, but it’s just something I noticed during our time there. Again, loved how spacious the house is. We appreciated that there was plenty of dining seating available between the bar stools, kitchen table and bar table. However, seating in the actual living room is a bit limited if everyone in your group is all in there together. Our group had 9 people and a couple people ended up sitting at the kitchen table while we were all hanging out in the living room. Cute house, good location to the pool and beach. & loved having the outdoor shower downstairs!
