Excellent house & Great Location

Had a great time at this property for the week, short walk to the beach, communication was great the entire week with the property manager, would definitely stay again.

Family Friendly

Management was quick to respond to a few questions prior to stay. Short walk on a quiet, dead end street to the boardwalk to the beach. Quaint beach community with 2 pools if you need a break from beaching. House was equipped with bedrooms for adults and children. There was a closet filled with everything needed for the beach.

Location was great. Walk to beach was easy!! The downstairs main room was ideal for all 9 of us plus one old dog (not talking about myself)! Had great dinner out nearby. It was a wonderful week!!!

Beach Vacay

We truly enjoy this neighborhood and will be back. Beds and couch were comfy and the AC was cool. House could use a good cleaning, but we stayed at peak tourist season-so I know timing is tight. Short walk to the beach. Loved it!

There was plenty of space for 9 guests and the kitchen was well stocked for a group that likes to cook all of their meals. Our only complaint is how the floors felt dirty from the time we stepped inside. I understand being at the beach makes it hard but we are pretty mindful of rinsing off before coming inside. And dirty floors can really make you feel uncomfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Mer~Sea! The house was wonderful and provided a perfect location and distance to the beach. The description of the house was accurate and had everything that we needed for the week. The property manager texted me to let me know that she was ready to help when and if needed. We enjoyed visiting the Naval Museum in Pensecola, FL one day and a great Mexican restaurant, Agave, in town for lunch another day. We will definitely be back!

Nice property

Nice property and a great location, but be cautious in picking this property if you’re looking for privacy because the management company is a little invasive. Property manager continuously drove or walked by property and one evening around 10 PM was moving chairs around on the deck.

Pet friendly, pools for beach alternative for the kids, short walk to the beach. House was great. All the kitchen necessities plus more. Wagon to trek to the beach and outside show and hose. Downstairs laundry with under-house access was great.

Kitchen was well equipped - better than most we have stayed in. Ground level entry with washer/dryer was nice for dropping shoes and bags after walks to the beach. Property manager very attentive and responsive to questions. Honestly the only thing I would suggest be changed is to update the living room furniture. I would stay here again.

Perfect!

Amazing vacation. Great location. Great house. Great beach. House came with everything... a very well stocked kitchen, gobs of ocean toys including a beach wagon. Furniture was comfy, approppriate (love the sofa and dining table). Very nicely decorated, calm, tasteful and not overdone. House is so close to the boardwalk and the pool. The front porch was perfect to listen to the waves crash and catch the ocean breeze. Love the car park area with an outdoor shower and table. Great place to land and clean up after a sandy day at the beach. The beach is beautiful white sand and stretches out a really good distance before becoming deep... perfect for young children. Mer Sea wwas a perfect vacation for our family.

Lots of room

The house was very nice and well kept. My husband and I stayed there with our son, his wife and our 6 grandkids, ages 6 - 17. We had plenty of beds. It’s a little walk to the beach but not terrible. Even though it says things should be removed from the beach by 8pm, did not adhere to that rule. One complaint, not about the house but when we went to the bigger pool on Monday and Tuesday. No one had cleaned the pool. There were lots of bugs and junk in it. If there would have been a net, I would have used it. Overall, it is a nice place.

Tons of space

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family visited Mer Sea over the Memorial Day weekend. The house was spacious enough to hold all 13 of us however the bunk room mattresses were very thin and would be more appropriate for small children rather than the adult teenagers we had. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook with as well as a Keurig and a drip coffeemaker. The front porch is big and has plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the small view of the ocean. Across the street and about 5 houses down from the beach, the walk was not bad at all. The only complaint was that the previous tenants must have had a cat because the chair in the living room. Overall, we enjoyed our long weekend at Mer Sea.

Great Vacation Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great vacation rental. The house was clean and had everything we needed. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom and bunk room were upstairs, and each had their own bathroom. The other 2 rooms were downstairs with 1 bathroom. The rental was roomy and we never felt cramped. The beach access was easy. There were 2 locations to each side of the rental to gain access to the beach. We were also very close to the Fort (which you should tour) and several restaurants. We ate at Tacky Jacks for lunch. It was good! We never had to travel more than a few minutes for food or a store. The washer and dryer were downstairs, and that room also had access to the outside. The property manager was super nice. She stopped to say hi and replied promptly when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

Great winter stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a month in Feb, 2023 and had a wonderful time. Great location for families and dog lovers. The home is in the Morgantown community in Fort Morgan, with easy beach access and ocean views. The house was clean and well equipped. I would say that the house is best for 4-8 occupants. 2 downstairs bedrooms share a small hallway bath, which is also the "public" bathroom for the first floor. Limited kitchen cabinet space for groceries and a noisy ceiling fan in the bunk bedroom. These were minor issues and did not interfere with our enjoyment. We have already booked this house for next year. The property manager lived in this community and was readily available for assistance.

JUST IN TIME!

Reviewer Comments: We were evacuated from our usual vacation spot in Cape San Blas, FL, a day before Hurricane Helene was due to make landfall. We drove over to Fort Morgan, AL and found this house at the last minute. Although we are accustomed to staying Gulf Front, this 2nd tier home was very nice. My only complaint would be the floors. They were dirty when we got there and needed a good mopping. We all removed our shoes when we went in, and I'm not talking about sand. That's normal. But everyone's feet were black on the bottoms within just a short time of walking on them. Other than that, everything was clean and in great shape. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Lots of issues but good location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, everything under the house was covered with an extreme amount of sand and debris. The floors in the entire house were very dirty! If you walked across the living area one time, your feet or socks were black. All the floors were covered with sand. One of the beds upstairs had been made up with dirty sheets and candy wrappers between the sheets. There were icy pop wrappers on the floor under three of the beds upstairs.Only one TV worked on Wally. Could not get regular TV on any of the TV’s on the main floor the entire week. Had people come in two different times, with no success. Tried everything possible for days to no avail. Finally got disgusted and gave up. The house itself is in fairly good condition and it is in a good location. However, the cleaning crew was awful and there was never any resolution with the TV’s.

We were able to move the cars out and throw corn hole under the house in the dry.
