Christmas gathering
Two words perfectly describe this property. Charm and Character seasoned with history. It is a comfortable place to be, and you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. The 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms was just what our group of 7 needed. Be sure to look at the painted door in one of the 1st floor bedrooms. The kitchen has all you need to make a feast. On Christmas day we cooked a 15lb stuffed turkey with 4 side dishes, gravy, and an apple crumble. We could've done a pie but nobody wanted to make a crust. There was 9 of us for dinner. We used the kitchen table as a buffet line, took the chairs into the living room, and ate dinner in front of the working fireplace. Kinda perfect. The house is very close to the town center. Just a short walk to the green and wonderful shops. Get a sandwhich from the market, you won’t be disappointed. The owner Yvette is pleasant and quick to respond to your messages. I know this sounds like your typical be nice review. But you can feel and see the love, care, and attention that she has put into this place. There is thought and soul here.
