We really enjoyed staying in Playa San Juan. It's a lively town with good views both of the ocean and of Mount Teide.
There are many good places to eat at all times of day. We particularly enjoyed, Macedonia Fruit Cake, La Vinoteca, 100% Pan y Pasteleria and the cheap and cheerful Bar Vitamin.
Wednesday is market day and it's worth a wander through especially for anyone interested in fresh fruit and vegetables - so colourful. To walk along the sea front and through the town in such sunny weather was also a real treat.
The apartment itself is very well situated and the transfer from the airport arranged by Daniela worked well.
The only two little niggles were that the sofa in the sitting room was actually a bed settee and very uncomfortable. Secondly, the apartment has a bath rather than a shower which is absolutely fine, but the hot water tank doesn't produce enough water to run a deep enough bath to be practical.
Otherwise, we were very happy there and are pleased that we booked with Daniela.
