Host was extremely accommodating and welcoming. My family stayed over New Years. It rained most of the time so we made good use of the well stocked board game cabinet and the fabulous kitchen. We loved the massive fireplace to cozy up the living room. We went to a tasting at Korbel, 9 min away and for a walk to see the the Colonel Armstrong tree, 10 min away.

Our host was so responsive and helpful. We had the loveliest Thanksgiving week at this beautiful and comfortable home. It had all the amenities to cook, relax, and spend time with friends and family in the spacious interior of this home and the even more spacious backyard. The location was ideal for us. Just a short drive to Armstrong Woods and just as close to downtown Guerneville.

This place is fantastic. The location was perfect. We had a family get together. You are 3 minutes from Armstrong Woods, 10 minutes from Monte Rio Beach if you want to go in the river (our choice over Johnson's), Safeway is a 3 minute ride the other way in case you need anything, and the pool is amazing. The house has plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. The front room was cozy and the back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers many options to go sit as a smaller group and have intimate conversations. The street is quiet and private. When you are outside you hear nothing, except an occasional hawk screeching. And Chris and Lisa are exceptional hosts. They were gracious and were always available to answer any questions. We only wish we had done this sooner. Our niece's husband is already planning on booking this place again with a friend of his and their family. My wife and I have stayed at many properties like this all over the world, and this ranks right near the top.

This was a wonderful place for a family get together. Large bedrooms and updated bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need.Fireplace and 2 sitting areas. Perfect summer place with large beautiful property and refreshing pool.Our family is familiar with Guerneville from having spent many summers there. This house is walking distance (1 miles) to town and a short drive or bike ride to Armstrong Woods Park.The house is on 3 levels so there are stairs.Good communication with Chris. Easy check in and check out.

We had a great long weekend stay in Guerneville! The house is perfect - well equipped kitchen, clean, lots of sitting areas and amazing windows and views. The outdoor space is beautiful, with so many spaces to perch to read a book or have a quiet conversation, plus a beautiful pool and pizza oven. We really appreciate having a place this nice where our dog could be included in our getaway.

Repeat visitors!

We've stayed at Chris and Lisa's house before and returned because we love it so much. House has lots of bed options for travelers with kids, and many separate sitting "nooks" that allow everyone to spread out. Communication from owners should be part of VRBO owner training, it's exemplary!

THIS HOUSE IS THE BEST

I do not wish to expound too much on this particular house because it will rent more frequently and I know we want to come back. It is a gem. The pool, the house itself, the kitchen has every little thing. There are three 'very large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Large living room and dining room add to the charm. We really never left the property except to buy groceries.

Beautiful getaway

This place is fantastic! Very well appointed and the hosts have clearly put much thought into anticipating needs every step of the way from the bathrooms to the kitchen to the indoor and outdoor conversation zones with blankets at arm's reach. The back yard was immaculately landscaped, private, with an abundance of seating and relaxation options. Last but not least, the bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. The hosts were very communicative, friendly, and very easy to contact. We very much hope to be back soon!

We absolutely loved this home and very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 6. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily. The hosts were very communicative during our stay to make sure all was well. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. They had everything we needed during our stay. Location is excellent and very close to Main Street. Thanks to the wonderful hosts for sharing their wonderful home!

One of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in

Where to even start with Chris's place - immaculately clean, great location, well-appointed (grill, hot tub, heated pool, fire pit, PIZZA OVEN??), well-decorated, I could go on. The pictures don't do it justice - there's even a nice hillside view from the backyard. Chris is lovely and responsive, and our dog had an absolute blast chasing balls in the backyard. We'll be back!

Perfect family spot

This place is a perfect family spot. The pool is great for the kids. The hot tub is fun. Grill for outside. Great location close to hiking and the river. We didn’t even get a chance to take advantage of the pizza oven but we will if we stay here again. There were some small issues from normal house stuff and Chris was super helpful, very responsive. Great host.

Garden paradise

A lovely, comfortable, spacious house with fabulous amenities. Very considerate hosts, detail oriented and quick to respond. The garden was lovely, with croquet lawn and beautiful flower beds around the apswimming pool, and more sitting areas than one could ever desire. Kitchen was great, supplemented by the outdoor wood fired pizza oven.
