very small town vibes, the redwood park nearby is great. the room we had was everything we needed: nice big bed and clean bathroom. no complaints at all.

I loved the friendly staff and spacious, clean room with updated furnishings and a comfortable bed. The room came with a full kitchen, utensils, dishes, and glasses. The free breakfast featured oatmeal, bagels, muffins, fruit and hard boiled eggs. Very cozy and perfect for a weekend in Guerneville!

Beautiful environment a real winner. Everything smelled amazing and was so cleanly. The staff. We’re so accommodating and pleasant. One of the best properties to be in. Would definitely recommend and return.

The heating and ac where updated, the bed was comfy. I had enough pillows, I always have to ask for extra pillows not this time. The property is clean, tidy, and peaceful. If i get a chance I would definitely come back.

The "community" of cottages was a fun little arrangement. The landscaping and outdoor decorating was beautiful and well-kept. The hostess at check-in was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a nice selection. The bed was not super comfortable, and squeaked with every movement. It was also disappointing that the pool was closed.

Nice place. Would consider staying again.
Check-in was incredibly quick and easy as was check-out. Room was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated. I truly appreciated the access to a microwave in the common area as I was checked in on Christmas and didn't want to have to find an open restaurant. My only negative comments would be that the window blind did not close properly and I had to hang a bath towel over the window for privacy. In addition, the mini-fridge was very frosted over when I checked in (something that should probably be monitored in general) and it decided to defrost itself during the night expelling water all over the floor next to the bed where I stepped getting up in the morning...to my surprise.

Perfect for my solo getaway
Just what my soul needed! Thank you S'morah :) This is an amazing property that provides a base camp to an endless array of exerursions. I was on a solo get away and rented the Studio unit. It was fresh upon entry and very clean. There was self check in available for my late arrival, I loved there breakfast sandwiches, excellent location--taco truck right across the street, next to a great brewery. A great home base, close to many local attractions. Highly recommended!

We loved how welcoming the staff was when we arrived and how they provided s’mores fixings at the fire pit for everyone. We spent the evening out at the fire. The room was wonderful and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Warm and comfortable down to earth stay
My friend and I stayed here for the second time and we loved our experience. Everyone there is so nice and warm. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I have ever had.

Cottages on River Road is a gem
Cottages on River Road is one of our favorite places for a short getaway. Guerneville is only a couple of hours from the East Bay. Just aware that many restaurants have Fall/Winter hours which are shorter than Summer hours. Your dining g choices will be impacted.
The cottages surround a grassy area. There’s a fire pit installed.

The staff were nice and helpful. The cottage is very small, but comfortable for one night stay. The place is not in the woods like shown on the picture. It is on a busy highway.

Front desk assistance was pleasant, and nice to arrive to a little bonfire and s’mores fixins’. Cottage was simple but sweet, very clean and had everything I needed. Such a nice setting in the redwoods, couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely stay there again.

Very nice cottages, newly renovated, super clean. Lovely garden courtyard in center of cottages. Cozy, quiet, and the bed was so very comfortable.
