We enjoyed our stay for a long weekend and found the house to be well isolated, despite nearby neighbors, and easy access to groceries and beaches.

View is outstanding! One of the bathrooms is in poor shape with tub peeling and the bed has major sagging. It sounds like there are mice in the walls or in the ducts. Kitchen is in good shape.

The views were as advertised. Spectacular. The Jacuzzi was in fine working order. Bathrooms were clean. The biggest negative was the second bedroom bed was not suitable for 2 people as the mattress was too soft and caved into the middle when 2 people tried to sleep. It was only usable for 1 person, the the other person had to use the couch. Jody from the management company was very responsive to our request to bring a starter for the stove and bbq.

Cliff House oceanfront

The place was great with views of the ocean from every room of this oceanfront property.There is an Ant problem in the kitchen area that should be addressed. The second bedroom bathroom needs to be upgraded as it’s showing its age especially the tub.

Wonderful but also not

For the price. The state of the couch was terrible. Looked like it was taken off a free pile on the side of the road and felt that way too. Gross old and lumpy. The heater was so loud we couldn’t sleep. The light woke us up at 7am sharp- no blackout blinds. Beautiful but holy crap, very bright very early The bathrooms were reminiscent of a best western in need of repair. It really should cost less or be remodeled: it did not look like the pictures. Although it’s hard to beat a view like that.

Property is amazing. There were some maintenance issues and we left a list, but overall it was amazing. We spent a lot of time at the house as it was so amazing.

Stunning location

Gorgeous house on a cliff directly upon the ocean. Stunning, open views and very, very private. 5 minute drive to Gualala and the Surf Market. Beautiful kitchen but needs some new kitchen knives and more bowls for families that like to cook at home instead of eating out each meal. There is plenty of new, comfortable patio furniture to sit and enjoy watching the ocean, birds and many whales. We’ve rented many houses along the north coast and I highly recommend this home. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Gualala Relaxation

The rental house is located in a great location, just 1.5 miles north of Gualala. Easy to get any type of food provision in town. The house has a fantastic view of the ocean, lots and lots of windows facing the sea. The house can use some maintenance and they need more outdoor chairs (only two). The kitchen has many of the basic utensils and pots. Good internet connectivity and the TV has many apps available. We would return.

Gualala Beach House

If you are looking for a relaxing, get a way. this property is perfect. The house is beautiful, location couldn't have been better and Vacasa was very helpful. This spot is perfect for star gazing and just watching the water and listening to the waves crash. Definitely recommend.

Best ocean view and sound ever!!!!

Spectacular views from every room with waves crashing onto the giant rocky shore. Great privacy with no direct near neighbors. Slept with window open listening to the waves. Visiting one footed seagull daily. Hot tub great! A few small issues: 1.the hand held shower in the tub was inoperable. 2.The front door was not always locking on first or second try. 3. An information booklet would have been nice with restaurants, trails, details on appliances and things to do.4. Larger coffee maker. But with the views....who cares!!!

Wonderful place. Hot tub was great. View was the best.

Great experience. Found Vacasa very responsive. We had smoke alarm low battery beep and they helped but couldn’t get there till morning. Property could use some lounge chairs. The ones that are there are broken. Beautiful place to stay

Great location with minor deficiencies

This is a great location. There are no instructions on how to use the TV and hot tub. A 5 cup coffee maker is totally inadequate for this home. The BBQ does not work. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous oceanfront home

We have stayed at many coastal properties around Gualala and Anchor Bay etc, and this one was one of our favorites. The vast ocean view, the home layout, the hot tub, the privacy and the large lot were all wonderful. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well-stocked and the living space ample. Ants as we read about yes, tiny ants, but just do not put food on the countertop. They were here first! A few negatives (though short-lived): bathroom towel fixtures loose or missing, one bathtub with missing over coating enamel around the drain, mildew within shower caulking in master bedroom. These could all be remedied easily. Overall, this home is a wonderful place for your solo, couples or small group stay! A short distance from many great restaurants, a grocery store or two, and killer beaches. Also much sea life to sea, whether migrating whales, sea lions or elephant seals (we saw and heard one’s bellowing at Shell Beach). Enjoy the property, but explore beyond it!

Great views

The house has great views and location is amazing. Hot tub was amazing, plenty of space on the deck. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. There was trash left over in the bathroom from previous occupants. The lining didn't feel clean, and smelled unclean. We had to take off the comforter and decorative pillows and place them in the closet because they smelled awful, we washed the bed linen, and aired out the room. Didn't expect to work on my vacation, but oh well. Overall it was a wonderful house, and the views and location made up for any inconvenience. Would stay there again, just would be more prepared.

Gorgeous, but Needs Some TLC

The location is unparalleled! Big property for my son to run around on. Phenomenal views of the ocean and coast. The house is very close to town and beach access, which was so convenient. The only downside was the house needs a little love. Many things were broken or in a state of disrepair, which I reported to the property managers (and will hopefully be fixed for the next visitors). Bring your own firewood (as it is not provided) and you'll be snug as a bug in a rug. My family hopes to visit again during whale migration for an amazing, magical getaway.

Won’t be back

On second day fell in shower. No mats to grip my feet and just slipped. Damaged my leg and hip to the point where my friend had to pack us up and take me to the hospital. I reported to VACASA THAT NO MATS IN SHOWER OR GRIPPING MAT OUTSIDE OF SHOWER!! Home very nice except for ants and ant traps on counter. Also road too winding and couldn’t find a beach!!
