"First, I want to commend the staff for friendly service. It is clear this hotel is locally owned and operated. I felt safe and cared for as a solo female traveler. I did not partake in the breakfast but it looked good and included a lot of items for a small hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. ..."

"This is a beautiful and lovingly restored facility in every respect. It has been tastefully updated. It is in a great setting, right on Main Street Cedar Falls. The staff is excellent. The only minus is parking. Overlook that and book, it's a fabulous hotel with lots of character."
