When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. "Breakfast was very good, but parking was a nightmare. Information said the railway station was open until 19.30 .. we went to look ... 18.00! There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. "These lodges are just beautiful! Perfect location for the party we had at Rise and Grind. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Spotlessly clean . Well equipped with kettle/ biscuits etc . Reception staff very welcoming. Honestly can’t fault it . Will visit again one day "
