Schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage zwischen Weinbergen und Olivenhainen etwas außerhalb von Panzano. Das Zentrum von Panzano mit Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist aber fussläufig zu erreichen.

Peaceful hideaway

The house was beautifully presented. Fabulous high ceiling in the main living area. Good outside spaces. Sizeable swimming pool. Only downside was the road/track down to the property which challenged the tyres on our hire car. Don’t bring a low slung sports car here!

Panzano

The property is set in the most beautiful location. To access the property you travel down a track that’s fairly steep. The house is set below the pool which was stunning. Listed as a private pool but the property owners used it. No issues for us but for those who think it’s private, this is a heads up. The house is rustic and basic but comfortable for a week’s stay. Usual ant activity in the kitchen. You will also have an electricity limit that you will need to pay if you go over. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

A taste of heaven

A rustic Tuscan converted barn with a stunning location and views to die for. 10-minute walk (uphill) to the village for excellent restaurant options and supplies. Manu was a wonderful and accommodating host, offering a warm welcome and lots of assistance with local bookings and recommendations. BBQ dinners by the pool at dusk were a highlight!

Peace and tranquility in Panzano

Had a lovely stay on the Tuscan hillside with my husband, daughter and son in law . Very central location absolutely gorgeous pool and Manu was so helpful with local knowledge and assisted with superb local restaurants. Woukd certainly recommend.

Tuscan Retreat

Great property and beautiful location. Manu and his daughter were very helpful and made themselves available whenever we needed them. Our stay was during the 1st two weeks in October and, while we had beautiful weather, we weren't able to use the pool as the temps were a little too cool. If you want to experience authentic country living (somewhat rustic) near a special hill town in an ideal location in Chianti, this fits the bill! Just FYI - the walk into town is doable but is up two rather steep inclines and the fireplace is not useable at this time.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful house with very friendly and helpful hosts

Thanks to our hosts and her well located , perfect fitted and furnished house, we enjoyed a wonderful stay in Panzano. The house offers all conveniences you can emaginate. The kitchen is fully equipped, two terraces have tables and chairs, the every day cleaned pool has all accommodations needed. Our hosts have been very helpful and friendly. They arranged even some local bookings which we where not able to do. We recommend this place from the heart. Please enjoy some days or weeks like we did.

Overpriced house with

We stayed a week in this very interesting old house, however kitchen and bathrooms were quite shabby. The kitchen was completely crowded with ants and in reality you could not have food on the tables. We didn't feel very welcome; by mistake our two children (13 years) hadn't been registered, as the agency had booked the house for us, and even though we immediately offerd to pay for them, the owner complained all week about the two extra people, We never got the extra towels, we requested, and the owner complained about sun protection in the pool - however, there was no shower at the pool. The owner had confirmed in writing that the pool was private, however, two family members suddenly occupied the sun beds leaving no sun beds, mattresses and parasols to us. The house is overpriced, low quality and sorry to say: we won't come back. The area is great though with charming small towns, restaurants etc, but we will stay at another venue next time.

Spectacular

Very nice, updated and clean barn conversion with privacy and amazing views. 15 min walk to the center of Panzano, a quieter alternative to Greve with some nice restaurants and more great views. Hosts are friendly and very helpful. Was not aware that the listed pool would not be open mid-May.

Ruhige Unterkunft im toscanischen Stil zwischen Weinbergen und Olivenhainen.

Charmante, ruhige Unterkunft im toscaniscem Stil, eigebettet in Olivenhaine und Weinberge etwas außerhalb der Ortschaft Panzano. Die freundlichen Vermieter haben uns am Anreisetag die exakten Koordinaten der Unterkunft gesandt, ansonsten wäre sie nicht ganz leicht zu finden gewesen. Für die Zufahrt benötigt man keinen Geländewagen, aber den tiefergelegten Sportwagen sollte man lieber zu Hause lassen. Ohnehin haben wir es bevorzugt, zu Fuß zu gehen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (ein kleiner privater Laden unterhalb der Kirche oder ein kleiner coop mit einem ausgesprochen guten Angebot) sowie diverse gute Restaurants sind zu Fuß über eine gewundene Schotterstraße durch Weinbege in 15 min gut zu erreichen, auch wenn es dabei teilweise etwas bergauf geht (dafür geht es zurück bergab!). Eine Empfehlung ist auch der Gemüse- und der Käsehändler auf dem Wochenmarkt am Sonntagvormittag in Panzano. Einfach delikat! Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist nicht Top-modern (WLAN, TV und Klima-Anlage sind natürlich vorhanden), aber gerade das macht seinen Charme aus. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Wir haben einige Ausflüge gestrichen, da es woanders nicht schöner als an diesem Ort sein kann, und bei der Abreise bedauert, keine zweite Wochen gebucht zu haben.

Just perfect!

My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband, stayed on this beautiful property hosted by Emanuele and Ann. It was just perfect! The property is beautiful, a great location for waking to town and day trips to Siena, Florence and Pisa. Also to visit the wonderful Chianti Classico wineries and restaurants. Emanuele even arranged for us to have dinner prepared for us by one of the best local chefs! If you are planning a trip to Chianti Classico region of Italy, we would absolutely recommend staying here!! Dont forget to bring your bathing suit!

Relax assicurato

Una casa immersa nei colli toscani, lontana da tutto ciò che può disturbare la pace che si trova in questa piccola oasi. La casa è ben fornita molto bella e arredata con stile. Fuori si trovano un portico fornito di tavolo e un’altra uscita con un tavolo dove si riescono a fare delle cene con un’atmosfera unica. La piscina è in comune con i proprietari di casa per niente invadenti. Molto bella ed è la ciliegina sulla torta per questa casa stupenda! Consiglio a tutti quelli che voglio trascorrere una vacanza all’insegna del relax.

Authentic Tuscany living with a great Pool

We have had the pleasure to stay for 2 weeks @ the private guest house of Emmanuel & Ann ! We ( my wife and two girls 13&17 years old ) really enjoyed the relaxing time . The old stone house is authentic and cosy- we missed almost nothing . The Pool is some steps ahead the house and huge ! The view ist stunning to see wineyards. The location in Panzano is Perfect just in the middle of Chianti .. the house is 15 minutes walk to good restaurants in the village . Ad on : Ann offers professional massage on request - recommended ! We already miss the place and the uncomplicated family of Emanuel !

Auf dem Anwesen wird man von der allzeit freundlichen Gastgeber-Familie empfangen. Hilfreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen oder das leibliche Wohl sind selbstverständlich! Das Haus ist sehr sauber, im Landhausstil mit sichtbarer toskanischer Architektur. Die äußerst großzügige Terrasse aus alten Steinplatten am Haus lädt nicht nur zum Frühstücken oder Abendessen mit schöner Aussicht zu zwei Seiten ein, sondern kann aufgrund der Größe auch parallel für z. B. Outdoor-Spiele im Familienkreis genutzt werden. Zwischen Zisternen und Olivenbäumen kann man sich großzügig um’s Haus bewegen. Gestört wird hier niemand. Die bestimmt 500 Jahre alte Eiche beim Haus gibt zusätzlich ein ganz besonderes Ambiente. Zum Pool muss man wenige Schritte hoch. Hier darf man sich auf eine zur Umgebung passenden Eingrenzung aus alten Steinen und Olivenbäumen freuen. Der Ausblick zu den weit gegenüber liegenden Hügeln vom Sitz- oder Liegebereich ist wirklich wunderbar! Im nahe gelegenen Ort kann man z.B. in der Enoteca Baldi sehr guten Wein genießen und ebenso gut speisen. Die beiden Metzgereien bieten hervorragende Fleischwaren zum Grillen oder im eigenem Restaurant. Alltägliche Lebensmittel kann man einfach im ansässigen Coop kaufen. Einen 10 min Spaziergang hierzu, vorbei an Olivenhainen oder Weinreben nimmt man gerne als Alternative zum Auto an. Von der zentralen Lage aus kann man die klassischen Sehenswürdigkeiten in gleichen Entfernungen erreichen. Dass man von Panzano di Chianti zuerst über zahlreiche Kurfen und Hügel zu den anbindenden Schnellstraßen gelangt, macht den besonderen Charme dieser Region! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Our stay in Panzano

The house was very clean, comfortable and in a great location with lovely views in all directions. We enjoyed lounging around by the swimming pool which was nicely located very close to the house. The hosts were very helpful and were on hand when we arrived to welcome us. We enjoyed going into the nearby town of Panzano which has good restaurants , some of which have terraces with great views. We spent a very relaxing week in the house and were sorry to leave. I would definitely recommend the property and hope to return to spend more time there.

Perfect tuscan paradise ❤️

We have had the best possible experience in this wonderful house. The pictures does not do it justice - the view is so stunning all the way round the house, I could sit and watch it all day. The house is very comfortable and you don't miss a thing. You can walk to the nice little town of Panzano and the house is perfectly situated to go on trips around Chianti and discover the area. The family is so lovely and helpful and we had such a good time at the pool talking to them, the nicest people. We will definitely be coming back to this little piece of heaven again next year - if it doesn't get booked all July because of my positive review 😂 We would definitely recommend this house to people with children or to couples, it is so nice and quiet - perfect for relaxing and enjoying life and Tuscany 😊
