Amazing Cabin for a large family get away

The cabin/house is amazing, roomy and nestled in a beautiful location. We enjoyed snowboarding at Sunrise, fishing in Greer and hiking. There are a lot of rules regarding the community but we made the best of activities outside of the community.

Wonderful Stay

We are repeat visitors of this cabin and look forward to going again. The host is great to work with, the house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable for our whole family ages infants, kids, teens, all away to grandparents. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Cabin!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful & HUGE! Plenty of room to spread out with 9 adults. The huge dining table was awesome. The setting was amazing. Tranquil. Be prepared for 20+ minutes of rough gravel driving from the highway to the cabin. Once there, it is beautiful - yet limiting to stay just in the cabin on property. No trail access or walking on the street. In contrast to other reviews, we found the kitchen to be well stocked with utensils, equipment, & appliances (pleasant surprise). The kitchen needed more organization and cleaning before our arriving (mainly the cupboards). The cabin was primarily clean - especially the bathrooms. The ramada grills were old & had two heat settings: ON & OFF. Thankful grilling was available. A couple mechanical issues came up during the stay that we reported to the owner. The fireplace in the living room did not work. We were asked to google the instructions, which was time consuming. We concluded the remote box was inactive. The washing machine, too, stopped working. When we contacted the owner/manager, he apologized that he hadn't replaced it before our stay, knowing it was not working. Unfortunately, our clothes were locked inside in much water. After googling how to clear the error code, we retrieved our clothes, wrung them out & bailed water from the washer. Given the remoteness of the cabin, not much the owner can do with issues arising. Beautiful for star gazing! Other than these issues, our stay was very, very nice.

Beautiful Property & Accommodation

It doesn't get much prettier. The amenities are amazing but most of them restricted for use. Everyone wants to BBQ but it is restricted and the seating is outdated and damaged. Most of the kitchen utensils and pot/spans are in poor condition making cooking hard to enjoy for a large group for which this stay can accommodate. Several things are in need of repair and for the rate should be in working order. I recommend bringing your own BBQ and your own cooking items to enjoy the remarkable location and housing.

This beautiful house was perfect for our large family group. There were lots of activities for the kids and enough room for each family to have private space. Next to the national forest for snow play and hiking.

Great place!

The house is beautiful and probably the cleanest I've ever rented. Communication was excellent. There's an HOA, which limits usage of the amenities, but that's made clear prior to booking so you know what you can/can't do. The location is great, and an amazing retreat from the Phoenix heat!

Was a wonderful retreat from the heat of the desert and even the rain was exciting for all. The property was beautiful, remote and exactly what we hoped for. The family have all voted enthusiastically to go again! Thank you to the owners for providing such a lovely experience!

Christmas Getaway

This property is amazing and I highly recommend a stay here. The Cabin is Huge and Beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. The pictures don't do it justice. The property rep was very nice and helpful answering any questions when we arrived. The owner Jeff was also very nice and very quick to respond to any questions I texted him. If you are looking for a spacious lodge like cabin for a big family or group of friends this is the place. Each bedroom is it's own master suite and the living area, kitchen, and upstairs entertainment area are plenty big for all to enjoy. This place made our family Christmas one to remember.

Beautiful home in an exclusive/private community

Overall great place to stay. The check in process is straight forward, essentially meet the community manager during a time window to receive the keys/codes and cabin rules walk through. This property has a lot of rules, primarily driven by the private gated community it is a part of . Primarily keep the noise down after dark and do not speed, this was not an issue as the house is large enough to congregate jnside. The cleanliness rules of the cabin are consistent with other cabins in the Greer area. This is the only cabin we’ve stayed at that does not come with a bbq pit. A bbq area can be rented for a small daily fee. Overall beautiful place and cabin.
