Extremely clean, new build, & full amenities. King bed was a little soft and lumpy but overall comfortable enough for a decent night sleep.

Check-in was very easy, was given the key code for the sort a few days before arrival. Kitchen was well equipped for all daily needs. House was perfect for our family of 5’s vacation and baseball tournament at SATB! Owners were quick to respond to any questions/needs during our stay! 1000% recommend!!!

This house was an excellent getaway after spending long days at Sports at the Beach. It was quiet and relaxing and even my 11 year old said he enjoyed it. The house is clean, comfortable and well maintained. My 6 year old loved to see the deer and babies in the yard. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to have a quiet getaway while still being close to plenty to do.

Perfect Location for DE Sports Complex

Absolutely loved this new home. The location was so peaceful and the great to attend a tournament at the DE Sports Complex. The owners thought of everything and had it all there on site (wood for fire pit, grill, towels, corn hole, etc.). Will stay here in the future if tournaments bring us up to this area again.

Most memorable stay!

We had an amazing stay at Backroad gateway over a long weekend! The property was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend including a great backyard and grill. The kids had their dream come true sleeping in bunk beds. Overall it was a wonderful, memorable stay and we will try to visit again!!

Perfect stay!

We stayed for a tournament at DE turf and this property was perfect - about a 20 minute drive to the turf, and not far from many beaches and cute towns. The house is located on a quiet road, beautiful property with lovely fire pit out back too. Inside the house was spotless - clean, open layout, and it had everything you could possibly need. The property owners really put a lot of thought into details, it was such a cute place. We will be back!

Absolutely delightful!

Came back home from PA to visit family and this house was just perfect to do that! Had spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and comfortable furniture and SO clean!! The backyard was amazing for us all to hang out with the fire going. The hosts were amazing with communication. Definitely recommend staying and I will be back!

Amazing!

My family and I cannot say enough great things about the home or hosts! The home was everything pictured plus so much more. Perhaps "thoughtful" in all regards is the one word to describe everything about both the home and hosts! The home location is rural and peaceful while only 30 minutes from the heart of Rehoboth Beach. We'll never forget the memories of our amazing stay - and plan to become regulars:-)! In fact, we're getting ready to book again:-)!

Great little house in a quiet neighborhood

This house is essentially brand new, and therefore really nice and clean. Equipped with mostly everything needed for a pleasant stay. Only things we'd suggest adding to the kitchen are a corkscrew and some wine glasses (all the cups are plastic), and a baking sheet. The surroundings were very quiet and peaceful, with a big backyard where a family of 3 deer visited every evening. Since the home is located on a road with several farms, we noticed that "special smell" a few times, and the tap water always seemed to smell of sulphur. Not a big deal at all, just something to be aware of. For us, we loved being in a quiet location in a really cute new house, and would definitely return next time we're in the area.
