Grandchildren vacation

This property was exactly how it was listed. Kitchen was well stocked and there was enough Bath towels and other towels for swimming. My grandchildren had so much fun on the lake with the tubes and Kayaks that we brought along with us. If you want relaxing and fresh air this is the place to go. I will definitely be renting this house again. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. Received all the information on how to get in the house timely. Can’t say enough about this home.

Beautiful spot

This is a lovely vacation home. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The pebble beach, dock, and fire pit were used daily during our stay. There was plenty of room for my family of four and we had an amazing time.

Great family spot, not too far from town but still private

Beautiful property, wish we stayed longer! The house is beautiful, upstairs is set up a little weird having to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. Water pressure was the worst. It trickled out of the bathroom sink and would not get warm. Shower stayed warm but the shower head was horrible. Other than that it’s a great spot, me and my family enjoyed our time there. Kids loved the rocky beach and dock. Lots of spiderwebs in the windows though. Lost power at one point for about an hour during thunderstorms.

Second year at this property and we will be back again! Nice improvements to property from last year to this year. Goose poop on beach and lawn was not ideal but it is a natural setting!

Perfect weekend get away!

Came up with my sister (who is visiting from out west) and my 2 youngest kiddos. This property was just perfect for us. Cozy and private. Camp was clean and tidy.. plenty of space for us. Lake views always incredible. Convenient to all the hiking trails we wanted to access. Will definitely plan to come back.

Beautiful Location

Very nice location! Loved how close to the water it was, very peaceful and relaxing. I spent most of my time outdoors but it did rain one day which forced me inside and the cleanliness of the home wasn’t 5 star. Either rusty pipes or high iron content in the water have stained the toilet and the shower orange and brown which was a bit off putting (I wore shower shoes!) there was also a gap between the sliding back door and the floor so rain water was leaking in and I had to stop it up with towels I had to switch out every few hours. There was also a mouse in the house, I caught it scurrying around a couple times. There was a bit of a learning curve to the thermostat if you’re not used to smart thermostats, instructions would be helpful :) it took me a while to remove the holds and preset schedules so I could make it warmer on the cold rainy day. The wifi is also not up to streaming caliber just as a warning, you can surf the web and do simple things but you cannot stream a video it just doesn’t have the bandwidth. I tried resetting the router and everything but if I tried to watch a video it would get pixelated and freeze almost instantly. That being said I still had a great stay! It really is an amazing location and a great price. I would book again!!

Moosehead getaway

Lovely location in well equipped, kid friendly home. Screen door needs new track. Having beach towels available would have been a nice added touch. A heads up about the need to purchase drinking water would have been helpful. Overall, though, I am ready to book the same home for next year!

Great peaceful location

Definitely recommend renting canoe or kayaks to enjoy Lily Bay, it would have been nice if the rent included these as many others do. Location was quiet and peaceful, loved listening to the loons & we saw an eagle. Ran into issues with slow WiFi & didn’t seem the Dish was working so tried watching a movie on Netflix & it kept stopping. Fortunately we had good weather, books & games so we didn’t really need the TV. The shower was another challenge with finding the hot water & then it would get extremely hot then would drop to cold if you turned down the lever. Overall a great spot but cabin amenities need some attention.

Location is pretty but there were issues regarding house. Based on price I expect more. Bad wifi which resulted in slow TV connection and lots of buffing Only a few windows open downstairs. Most were stuck Upstairs smelled like mothballs. Yucky carpet Cold at night Floor in shower was slippery. Almost fell stepping out. Picnic table was old. Outdoor furniture was dirty Didnt like Sofa cover. What are they hidding?
