Great Location for a Friend's Getaway

You'll have a wonderful time at this house. All was as described. It's about 1 mile to the downtown area, a quick Uber ride was about 4 in non-surge times.

Historic Gem

I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years. This property was probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The chandeliers even sparkled.All bedrooms provided sufficient room to unpack and relax. Both baths were update/remodeled with walk in showers. Plenty of bath towels were provided as well as supplies (TP, paper towels, garbage bags). The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of dinnerware, pots and pans. Additionally, condiments were available (lots of coffee, tea, olive oil, spices, etc...) The outside porch was the finishing touch. We enjoyed our morning coffee there, our family Easter dinner, just lovely. Plenty of parking around back made it convenient for our 3 vehicles. The neighborhood is super quite, most homes were business (law & wealth management), so after 5, and the weekend, very little movement/activity. Walking distance to downtown Greenville about one mile, flat terrain, and super interesting to view the other historic homes.Communication via text was very easy, and in fact I was provided with check in instructions and address way in advance, allowing me time to share with my family.My family and I hope to return next year. Thank you for the great stay.

Pettigru House is Perfect in Every Way!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The Pettigru House had everything that we needed for our weekend visit to attend a family wedding. Gorgeous home with wonderful beds and showers. My family of adult children appreciate a good cup of coffee... or two.. and the coffee bar was on-point! My daughter and I appreciated the desk in the primary bedroom and the little stools and mirror in one of the other bedrooms. Those touches created a relaxing space for getting ready. You really thought of everything! Thanks for a wonderful weekend in Greenville!

A Dream!

The house is absolutely gorgeous! It made the trip perfect without even having to leave. It was decorated like a magazine and very functional for any size group. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything you needed along with comfortable beds in every room. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe but located close to everything! We will definitely be staying at this house next time we are back in Greenville!

Absolutely Perfect House

My husband & I travelled to Greenville for my Nephew's Baby Shower with him & his wife, his parents & my other sister. All seven of us LOVED this house. The house was adorable, very clean, close to everything we needed. The host had delicious fresh baked croissants waiting for us. When any of us come back to the area, we will definitely stay here again!!!

Great Downtown Location

The property is beautiful and well appointed. We were in town for a family wedding. The home was in a quiet downtown location. The house is as good as the pictures and the host was super easy to work with. If you are looking for an amazing rental close to downtown, look no further!

My sorority pledge class celebrated a reunion at this beautiful, charming, well equipped house. Breakfast on the front porch, comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms enhanced our visit. We cannot rave enough.

Wedding Weekend

This house is perfection! So beautifully and tastefully decorated. My daughter and her bridesmaids stayed here the night before the wedding. The wedding was held at Judson Mill, so this house was conveniently located and provided some quiet time away before the ceremony. Then, the bride and groom stayed here on their wedding night. Jessica is an amazing host and we could not have been more pleased!

Perfect home away from home

We booked this home for our yearly girls get away. We are 4 women who are all 70 years old. This home was not only convenient to the city of Greenville, the home is beautiful. It’s beautifully decorated and appointed and had all that you would need or want in a home. ( whoever decorated this home, I’d love to have them decorate my own home) The hostess, Jessica, was always quickly responsive to my questions. And we LOVED the croissants that she sent over on our first day. It made our first morning so lovely. Four good friends having croissants and coffee on the lovely front porch. I gave a 4 for the accuracy of the online listing only because online it states 2 full baths and 2 half baths but there are only 2 full baths. Which are large and were perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful gem...

This place was amazing. Comfortable beds (with fluffy bedding), lots of room to spread out. It appears to be a historical house, that's fully restored. The bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate, and fully stocked for a hassle free visit. Probably close enough to downtown to walk, however we chose to drive. Nice front porch (ideal for playing games).

Girls Weekend Getaway

We had a WONDERFUL stay at the Pettigru House. It was so beautifully decorated and we had all we needed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the check-in and check-out processes were simple and hassle-free. Communication was easy and friendly with our host and her associate. We loved the easy access to downtown and the Swamp Rabbit trail. A quiet and peaceful weekend for us :-). We will definitely return!

Perfect home just minutes from downtown

My girlfriend and I visited GVL to celebrate my birthday. The home has been recently updated; the furnishings and fixtures are very nice and the property is kept so clean. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms the place is perfect for a large family or a few couples. I plan on staying here again.

Have stayed in over 30 vacation rentals during the last 2 decades, this was one of the best! Clean, comfortable and well stocked! Lovely, quiet neighborhood which was close to everything. Jessica was awesome with quick informative responses including great suggestions for restaurants even while she was traveling outside of the country!
