"As a lover of architecture, it scratched the itch to stay in a historic mansion. Like much of Richmond, IL, this house was many decades past its prime, witnessed by the broken car parked out front and the 70's apartment complex that overlooks its backyard. The home has tons of space and some beautiful original features, but you have to balance them with the broken, mismatched thrift store furniture, the challenging lack of outlets/strangely placed switches and dusty old curtains some on broken...

"The home was very nice. There were a lot of nice touches such as earplugs in the bedroom our dishes and coffee and a froth or and just very very nice very comfortable. Just very welcoming. The hosts were very easy to work with gave plenty of information listed expectations and allowed us to have a very nice stay in Tipp. Will stay there again next time we come through Dayton. "

"Such a wonderful place to stay for our trip to the dream at Eldora Speedway! The town is so quaint and laid back! Loved front porch sitting, the house was clean, plenty of space, rooms for everyone !!! We could’ve fit 15 people if we had to! Alex responded to any messages in a timely manner!
