"The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

"5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Beautiful apartment in lovely, historic building. Extremely tasteful furnishings with fantastic mullioned windows. Very scenic spot with gorgeous views and a very pretty town- Rothbury. Super walks from the house and only 25 minutes from very sandy Alnmouth beach. Our dog loved it all and we, as well as him, were made to feel very welcome by the owner in our communication. "

"We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. "What a place, accomodation is excellent, plenty of room to be together, but also plenty of room to find some peace and quiet! Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal.
