Deer Run Retreat Great fishing cabin!

  • Nice setting with scattered trees, lots of wildlife to watch while you enjoy coffee. Plenty of room for boats and pick ups to get around it has a large circle driveway . There is also a place to plug your boat in. bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bath and large living room with a queen size hide-a-bed. Also a queen size and a twin size bed at the back of the large living room .There is even room for an air mattress too! There is a fire pit and grill to enjoy during your stay.
    Also there are no steps, great for elderly people or people who cannot climb stairs!There is also an outside dog pen available to use. (dogs not allowed in the house without permission)Only 1 mile to Ruark Bluff where there is a boat dock on one side of the road, and the beach on the other side of the road with children’s play area and picnic area.

The property was very clean and everything was just as described on the listing. The cabin was very clean and all the amenities you could ask for. Debbie was awesome and highly recommend you stay here!! I know we will be back!

Our stay at the Deer Run Retreat was great. It was super clean, quiet and cozy and a nice place to crash after spending the day helping family members who live nearby, with their home remodeling. We definitely would recommend it.

Wonderful spacious cabin, a couple minutes from a nice boat ramp, electrical outlet outside to plug in my boat. Thank you Debra for being so accommodating to me. Truly a wonderful experience.

It is way back off the main drag and you have to drive to the .lake. The lake was up 7 ft so the fishing wasn't good but that's not the host problem. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. There were many deer and turkey crossing. Next time would come we'll bring our side by side but only a mile from boating and Sandy Beach.

Property was great.could use a bigger sign for the entrance to the cabin. And a little more room to back a boat or vehicle in thw carport. All in all was very pleasant stay thank so much we will be coming back....

Great location

I liked how quiet it was and the woods surrounding the edge of the property was full of life. The house itself was interesting. Plenty of space and very convenient location if you want to spend most of your time on the lake.

Great little base camp!

A few friends decided to do a little archery deer camp around Stockton lake and this was the perfect spot! Centrally located and had everything we needed. Debra was a great host. Thanks! Will stay again.
