"I’d like to give them a higher rating because every time a problem popped up they worked to solve it! But when we arrived four hours after check-in time last Sunday, the owner seemed to have no advance notice of our week-long booking. The apartment wasn’t cleaned yet and a family member was taking a shower. They were very apologetic about it and we waited about an hour before moving in. We did like the location and the unit was fine overall!"

Champlin was close to all events and there are stores close by for any items not packed. The house itself is simply stunning. "Mattress looked like it came out of a dumpster, mold and very badly stained. Old used soap bars in bathroom. Fridge smelled terrible. Slept in couch first night as arrived late. Left at sunrise and advised host who said they would call for refund. Since then unavailable. VRBO states that host tried to resolve issues by offering to deliver a new soap bar. The home was a health hazard and we had to evacuate as quickly as possible for fear of health related issues. "

"My wife and adult daughter stayed there for 9 days and loved it. We have stayed in 5 or 6 other VRBOs over the years and this was the best by far. I was very impress with the high end appliances and bathroom. We rented our vacation place out for a period before we retied so I know what it takes to make it a luxurious retreat. They did that. If I could give them a 6, I would but the clear just goes to 5. And I am a very tough customer. Please excuse the gushing, but this is top notch. "
