"This was a perfect slice of heaven. The peaceful sound of nature along side the beauty of the outdoors.Just far enough away to feel like you are hours away from a store but in reality it’s really only 10 minutes away. We will definitely be returning. "

"Great location, lots of space in the home. Kitchen stock was acceptable, not outstanding. Plenty of towels. Garage is pretty smelly so we didn't use it. Local contact was very helpful when we had a couple questions. Thompson Lake has lots of rocks - be wary if you're boating."

"We had an incredible time at this property!! A little slice of heaven which is hard to find these days. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, sitting on the deck and dock with a cup of coffee. The house is wonderful, wouldn't change a thing! Roger and Elaine were so welcoming and responsive. When there was a kayak paddle missing they came within 10 minutes with a replacement! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! "

"We wanted to get away with our adult kids for a quick trip, always trying to connect with crazy schedules. We also wanted to be able to bring our jet skis to have some fun- easy docking and great swimming area. The property was amazing. So. Well. "Great location, easy to walk to the General Store, Tubby’s and Farmer’s Market. From Wayne, it’s an easy drive to the coast or to the mountains for a hike. The house is clean and lots of room, as well as a spacious front deck looking out over Androscoggin Lake."

"Property is much more spacious than the photos show which is a plus. Thank you Jeff and Jess for being great host with providing everything we needed for our party of 9. The neighbor’s chickens were a nice surprise to have roaming outside."

"Good communication from host with all the details. Great view of the lake from backyard with firepit and grill. Can watch the sunsets also. Birds observed on the lake great egret and ducks. Good location to a number of golf courses. Route 197 diner and Dubois cafe short drive for group breakfast before tee time. Kitchen has everything to make a meal. Would be great next time to have a dish rack for those small items to hand wash and dry. Was able to take 10 second exposure shots of the night...

"We choose this place for the location and it did not disappoint. The scenery is beautiful plus its in the middle of a lot to see so if you are going down to Portland or up to bar harbor your in a nice spot to drive either way."

"This house was just what we needed to cap our summer. All 5 of us gasped when we pulled in and saw the view! Kayaking and smores...rinse, repeat. Only tiny downside was the busy street which cut down on taking walks, but left more lake time! The photos don't do justice to the cleanliness and spaciousness. We hope to retuen,next summer and rent a boat for the week. Thank you!"

"This house was WONDERFUL!! The host was AMAZING!! We will be booking here every year when we come to Maine. The location of the property was perfect for a family. There are also very nice basketball courts, a ball field and soccer nets right across the street. Hands down my favorite house we have stayed at this far! "
