Peaceful Getaway

Excellent service from reservation to check-out. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The house was lovely, with every detail in place and incredible amenities. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room are all well-stocked. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but it looked exceptionally clean and inviting. I wholeheartedly recommend this vacation rental. Spotlessly clean and gorgeous, with so many homey details! Thank you for an extremely relaxed and tranquil stay. PS. Much to our delight, during our stay, there was a resident eagle, bunnies, and a doe with her new baby fawn, all of which added to the home's charm.

Delightful

The house was very comfortable and inviting. I loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the snow-capped mountains. I also loved walks along the shoreline of Saratoga Pass. Everything we needed was there - it's a well-equipped house for cooking. It's in a great location to go anywhere on the island.

Beautiful location, pristine views

My husband and I visited this property to enjoy our ten-year anniversary. The views are hands-down the best thing about this home. There are gorgeous views of the water and mountains from nearly every window. The home was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and taking in the beauty. Our only issue was that there were tons of bees and hornets around the property, and we discovered numerous hornet's nests under the eaves all around the house. Luckily, we found some hornet spray and were able to eradicate some of the nests that we could reach, which enabled us to be outside without fear of getting stung. We notified management at check-out, and they said they would take care of the issue. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Summer Getaway from Texas Hear

The location of this property was ideal. The property was clean, had comfortable beds and a very well stocked kitchen. These are the things I look for in reviews and this property checked all the boxes with exceptional views! We couldn't have picked a better spot to enjoy Whigbey Island and enjoy the weather. Flying bald eagles were a bonus to see from the front porch. This property will be placed in our favorites folder and hope to return to in the future. Book it..you will not be disappointed:)

Amazing rental!

This was the best VRBO house we have stayed at. The house had everything you could ask for, and more. Amazing views of the water, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and more. Very nice dishware, utensils, bakeware. pantry had lots of essentials for baking and cooking, plus lots of spices, teas, and coffee. Beds were firm and super comfortable. Bathrooms were really nice too. The kids loved the toys and games. TVs had very basic cable, but we were able to cast Netflix and our home cable provider from the casting devices available in the living room and bonus room. The DVD selection is great too. The hot tub was the highlight. We spent time every day relaxing in the hot tub looking at the calming waters, watching eagles, hummingbirds, herons, and deer wander around the property. The location was perfect, centrally located with easy access to all parts of the island. The beach was a very short walk away, but be warned, it is uphill on the way back. The property managers were excellent and were very responsive. We loved this house so much! We would absolutely come back. Thank you!

Beautiful home and location, wonderful service

I and four friends had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights. It was as lovely as the pictures depicted, clean, extremely well stocked, and had a stunning view (which we enjoyed from the hot tub). The house is located about 10 minutes or so from the Coupeville/Port Townsend ferry for an easy walk-on trip to Port Townsend. The host was amazing. She provided clear instructions and responded quickly to all questions. I highly recommend friends, families, and couples choose this house for their stay in this area.

Well-stocked and comfortable

Two families with 3 total children ages 8-11 stayed for 3 nights and we were super comfortable and entertained. The house is nicely appointed and better stocked than ANY rental we have stayed at before (especially the kitchen). The hot tub was great, even in the rain. The view was beautiful. We were close to a ton of hiking and good food. And, the movie selection was great for kids and adults.

Beautiful house. Wonderful location.

This is the first time staying at this house and in Greenbank. We've stayed in Whidbey many times, in Coupeville and Langley. This house, by far, was the most welcoming, well equipped, well labeled 😊 that we've ever stayed in. A great house to rent with another couple. We had a great time!

Wonderful Holiday Stay

Kitchen is extremely well stocked - everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. Right next to a beach to walk on, and the house had everything we needed. View from the hot tub was beautiful!

Great House for a Weekend Getaway

Great property that fit a group of 8 friends perfectly. All of the rooms were spacious and the rest of the house was the ideal layout for everyone to socialize, cook and have meals comfortably. The rental company was very communicative and available if needed. The views were amazing to wake up to and the hot tub was the cherry on top. I would definitely stay here again.

Moms Weekend

For the most part everything was great! There are a ton of rules posted everywhere throughout the house, so kind of annoying, but understandable I suppose. Driveway is very steep. Could use some updating with the cable situation, like adding on Netflix or more available channels. Can only use dvd's there. Quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen.

Beautiful Views but Limited Water Usage in House

The house and property are beautiful. The views of the ocean inlets and mountains was gorgeous. The house was fully stocked with amenities and then some. We stayed for 7 days. The island had a lot to offer for sight-seeing, bird watching, tidal pooling, kayaking, restaurants, lovely towns and shops, ... The one down point was the insufficient water supply at the house due to the small septic tank. We had 6 adults showering and using the toilet. The dishwasher didn't work (which would have been more water used) but they gave us paper plates and plastic forks as I had requested to limit the number of dishes we had to do. We were ok with this. We did 2 loads of laundry mid-week so we would have fresh towels. On our 5th day there the Septic tank alarm went off. When we called the rental people, we were told we couldn't take showers or flush the toilet until the septic tank reset itself in 24hrs. 2 of our party were flying out that next morning and could not shower before their flights. The remaining 4 of us couldn't shower and went into town to use public restrooms there as not wanting to set off the alarm again at the house. On the 6th day, late afternoon, the alarm light finally went off, having reset itself. We did not take long showers and we did not all shower at the same time. It was disappointing that the Septic system could not handle 6 adults. They really should not advertise that it can. Or say you should not use the washer or dishwasher if you have more than 4 people with you. If you have 4 or less in your party, the Septic tank should be able to handle your water usage. Be careful of running the dishwasher and doing any laundry while there as that may put it over. Other than the insufficient water issue, the house was wonderful, beds were comfortable, and the hot tub worked great. We even had deer coming into the yard to eat the neighbor's apples off the tree. I would stay here again if just my spouse and I but I will not stay again for a family vacation.

Family Gathering

Excellent stay at this wonderful house. Our UK family were reunited with our Dad after 4 long years post pandemic. Superbly equipped house with everything you could possibly need. We were very lucky with the weather so the views from the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed the huge selection of dvds in the evening. We will be back.

Fabulous stay at Cranes Landing house.

We spent 3 weeks here and this house was perfect . Uber clean, best cookware, plate-ware, and utensils. Great appliances including coffee brewer, blender, and Kitchen Aid mixer. Tons of pots, pans, and bakeware. We loved the location which is about half way between Langley and Oak Harbor. Management company was very good. We have been using VRBO for about 10 years and this was the best house we have had ever.

Girls weekend

We had a lovely stay! This is a beautiful house equipped with everything you need for a lovely weekend. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was great, and there was such a wide movie selection! The only little bump was that the dvd/Blu-ray player wouldn’t work. Luckily one of my girlfriends brought her own DVD player! But that’s something you may want to look into for the future stays! Overall, really great house, we loved it. Oh and we saw so many deer! An extra lovely surprise. 😊

Sisters Weekend Getaway - second time staying @ Crane's Landing

Our first time was June 2020. Enjoyed our stay so much that we chose Crane's Landing again for our most recent girl's weekend. Plenty of sleeping options for six of us. Great view from the front porch, plenty of wildlife to see. We had an issue Friday evening trying to connect to the DVD player, but Tara Rentals was quick to address our issue and had someone come out Saturday morning to resolve. Great Customer Service!! Look forward to staying here again in the future :)

Perfect family home
