My family and I had an amazing weekend at Wood Haven. The house was clean and all the amenities were great. It was a great getaway for our family.

Family weekend trip

It was an excellent stay. Great for a large family of 13. Kids had plenty of space to play. Also had a great time using the sleds outside in the snow.

Mountain Retreat

Great property, our group had a fantastic time. Only real issue was some of the leftover food items like coffee and brown sugar were very expired. Otherwise, no complaints.

Great host!!

Loved how many bathrooms this property had. We felt very comfortable with the space and had more than enough room and beddings for all of us! The host was easy to contact and even had a few complimentary snacks!

A Wonderful Weekend

We had an amazing time at Wood Haven! We are definitely planning a few more family vacations at this beautiful cabin. I cannot recommend this stay enough! It's such a fun and quirky cabin in the woods with lots of lore and charm surrounding it's creation.

Great extended family home

Woodhaven allowed for our extended family to all be together… a tall order when you have a large family! Other than the VRBO app making it difficult to communicate with the property manager and to share house info with others, all went well. Thank you for making it a great family trip!!

Unforgettable Family Gathering

We had a big celebration at Woodhaven in Green Valley for my daughter’s 50th. I can’t even begin to describe all the ways this house made our time together perfect. There are plenty of nice rooms beds and bathrooms for everyone. Plus the kidlet’s were happier than happy playing with cousins. They loved the loft room. It was their club house. Adults socialized, played pool, did puzzles and games, took hikes to the lake and to the campground right from the cabin. Napping in lots of comfy recliners was enjoyed by some. An outdoor patio with big table for art and socializing. The kitchen has all the equipment, pots and pans, big frig, and space for lots of cooks and family. The island in the kitchen in proximity to the big dining table is an amazing use of space. It’s big and really keeps the family-together-feeling. We spread out big meals and everyone helped themselves. We fished and rented the duck paddle boat. Lots of us swam in the lake. The cafe in town has really good malts, burgers, fish and chips. That makes the short hike to the lake a full package Family experience. And we spent days just enjoying the time together in the beautiful home in a great location. With a history of its own. Parking was ample. They allowed guests so two of our families stayed at the campground and one in a nearby hotel. They loved the campground — nice big sites, beautiful location.

Hagemeyer Annual Summer Vacation

Overall our stay was great! We happened to pick the hottest days this summer so we had to borrow a box fan and portable air conditioner which helped during the day when it was over 100 degrees. The nights were cool. We had plenty of places for people to sleep and the kids enjoyed the upstairs loft. We mainly enjoyed the main floor living room/dining room and main floor deck when we were there. Love the roominess of the main floor and the kitchen! All 14 people could enjoy the main floor at once. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent for Large Groups

We had a group of 17 between 4 families. Every family was able to get a room and there was extra rooms for the kids. Every space in the house is very spacious the kitchen is very well stocked there is no need to take any appliance with you. The backyard was perfect for sledding there is no need to go find where to have fun in the snow, its right in your backyard! I would definitely recommend this place, the location the amenities everything was perfect.

Great stay for large group

We enjoyed our stay here, plenty of room to spread out or hang out together. The kitchen was a great size for multiple people to be in there at once. Plenty of outdoor areas to play in the snow behind the cabin. The parking was great, we got several large vehicles in the driveway with snow banks on both sides. Highly recommend.

Winter Birthday

Booked Wood Haven for my sons birthday and this charming cabin did not disappoint. The host really has this cabin set up to be a home away for home. I had a family of 19 for the weekend and we were comfortable there no problem. Location is near small little market and close to snow valley so it was ideal, plus there are a few spots to park and play in the snow. The host added a small personal touch on how the cabin was build and back story which added to its charm. There are I would recommend this cabin for families.
