Lovely Villa plenty of room

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Katrin in May 2025, following a cruise, and spent a few relaxing days there with another couple. Communication with our host, Tia, was excellent from the start—she was warm, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. Upon our arrival, she greeted us personally and shared great recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants, which helped us settle in quickly.The villa itself is ideally located—close to the airport and just a 15-minute drive from Old Rhodes Town. While other modes of transportation are available, I would recommend renting a car for convenience. Villa Katrin is well situated near a supermarket, a fantastic bakery, and a friendly neighborhood restaurant called Whispers.The home is comfortable and thoughtfully designed. One cloudy day, we experienced a shortage of hot water (as the home relies primarily on solar heating, which we appreciated for its sustainability). Tia was quick to assist and explained how to activate the supplementary water heater, which solved the issue easily. A small suggestion would be to include a binder or guidebook in the villa with instructions for appliances, local tips, and nearby points of interest—it would be very handy for guests.The cooktop required a bit of guidance as well, but again, Tia was incredibly helpful. The pool was a real highlight—we were pleasantly surprised to be able to swim comfortably in May!A minor recommendation: having plastic glasses available for use around the pool

Villa Katrin is a lovely family space, with it's fabulous pool and large living areas, private spaces and good sized bedrooms. Super easy access from the airport and to the rest of the island.

The property looks as shown or even nicer! It has a really large pool and everything you need for relaxing hollidays. Tia is a great host who will give you a lot of nice tips (restaurants or sightseeingtours ). The beach is just around the corner, such is the old town of Rhodes (10“).

Fantastic place

This place is even bigger than the photos suggest - so clean and well kitted out for a week away - if you decide to self cater or eat out. The pool is superb with loads of loungers. Tia welcomes us to the apartment on arrival and couldn’t be any more helpful during the week. The location-wise it s about a 15 min walk from Ialysos, or 10 mins to the taxi rank that takes you to Rhodes (£10 fixed fee). For those that like the beach it’s a short walk about 5 mins, and anyone wanting to rent a car/bike/pushbike/scooter there’s loads of local places to try out. Would definitely recommend to others.

Lovely week in Rhodes

Villa Katrin was perfectly placed with a supermarket within a minutes walk and bus stops to old Rhodes Town within a five minute walk. Lovely tavernas and bars near by too, and the private pool amazing. Highly recommend.

Lovely holiday

We cannot fault the service Tia gave us. She was amazing. From trying to sort us a taxi when ours didn’t turn up, adapting timings to suit us and the lovely little touches which made our stay perfect. The villa was extremely clean, beds were comfortable, pool was beautiful. It’s right next to a supermarket which was really handy and a bigger Spar gave more choice and was only a five minute walk. There are some lovely eateries and the beach is perfect to watch the sunset. Thank you Tia for making our trip to Rhodes so lovely. We would highly recommend this villa.

Me and my family recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Katrin in Rhodes, and it was an exceptional experience. The villa is situated in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings of Rhodes. The convenience of being just a one-minute walk away from a supermarket was a huge plus, especially for grabbing essentials and snacks without any hassle. The villa itself was perfect for a hot time of the year, thanks to the very efficient air conditioning that kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The pool was another highlight—it was great and super clean, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding hospitality of the host. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being. When I unfortunately hurt my back, the host promptly arranged for a doctor to come to the villa, which was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. Overall, Villa Katrin offered an excellent combination of convenience, comfort, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Rhodes.

A fantastic property with a superb pool, the hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The villa is situated in a well appointed spot approx half way between the airport and Rhodes town, with multiple bars and restaurants within a short walk plus the nearest supermarket is just a few steps away making getting supplies really easy. Should you need to hire a car there are again multiple options locally that will drop off and collect direct to the villa at a reasonable price. The villa is well stocked with modern conveniences to ensure a relaxed stay.

Home Away From Home

It's only been a few days since we left and we already miss our home away from home. Tia is a fantastic host. Easy to work with and offered places to eat and visit while on Rhodes. Manoli, her father, is just as fantastic. He was our hero when we realized we left all our adaptors at home and he showed up with his own for our use. They made us feel like family. You dont need a car since the grocery store is right next door and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. But, if you get a car, I recommend eating on the rooftop of Mythos in Lindos, the Valley of the Butterflies, Aspri Avli Restaurant, Kalithia Springs and Barbarossa Beach Cafe. Just to name a few.

Rhodes Reunion

I stayed with my sister, son and his girlfriend, and my best friend for two weeks. The house is lovely in a nice neighborhood, very near to a supermarket. We loved the large sunny pool with lots of beds and sun umbrellas. The beach is a 5 minute walk and plenty of nice restaurants and shops nearby. Rhodes old town is a short taxi ride away. Tia was super helpful and was always available to help with any questions. We loved staying here and would absolutely stay here again

Great property, with an amazing pool. Tia was incredibly helpful and booked us taxis, pointed us to good restaurants and beaches. The only downside is the villa is on a busy road, although set back enough that the noise wasn’t really a problem. Would definitely return to this villa.

Perfectly relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. The grocery store and car rental place were literally steps away and the beach was a short walk as well. We did not have a car and we certainly didn’t need one for the majority of our stay, when we wanted one we just rented for the day. Would totally recommend this home to friends and family. Absolutely perfect!

The house was better then the pictures. Beautiful home with everything we needed and things we wanted. We didn’t have a car and we didn’t need need one, we were walking distance to everything we needed. There is a grocery store, car rental and gas station steps away from the property. We rented a car one day and went to Lindos and Agathi beach, only about an hour away. We have to give a huge thank you to Tia and her family, they were great hosts and went above and beyond, like the night we locked ourselves out of the house and a jar of the mom’s preserves. Thank you for a great vacation!

This is a truly amazing villa.

What a wonderful stay we had at the villa. We could have easily stayed much longer. We pool was great and well used by us. The villa was spotless and had everything that we needed and more. Tia and her family were a pleasure to deal with and her response time to any query we had was answered straight away. I will definitely be recommending this villa to family and friends.

Fantastic villa and wonderful hosts

What a beautiful villa with a huge private pool area and a lush garden! The moment we stepped into the villa, we felt right at home, thanks to Tia and her sister. Everything inside and outside was spotlessly clean and tidy. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated and there was everything you needed for a home away from home. The pool area was the nicest we have ever experienced in any rentals before. Tia kindly answered our questions already before our trip and gave us many excellent tips for dining during our stay. She and her family really knows what great customer service is all about. Thank you again for your hospitality, we all had a memorable holiday. Hope to see you again!

A Marvelous Rental

This has to be the nicest and most enjoyable home we have ever rented, either in the U.S. or Europe. The rooms were very spacious, exquisitely decorated, and exact duplicates of the photos representing them on-line. The manager, Tia was a delight to deal with, very responsive, and helpful in every way. The pool could not have been nicer, was immaculate like the rest of the house. The kitchen was very well appointed, and well stocked. Tia even left us a few gifts which were most appreciated. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. A Perfect Home!

We loved our stay in Rhodes at Villa Katrin! Tia and Maria met us upon our arrival and even insisted on helping us carry our heavy bags! They showed us around their beautiful property, told us how everything worked, and gave us their phone numbers in case anything happened during our stay. Their home is beautiful: spacious, well-maintained, with everything needed in the kitchen for us to make some meals and have a relaxing stay. Villa Katrin is also very close to Rhodes Old Town, so the location is excellent. And the POOL! Gorgeous - amazing! We relaxed, swam, enjoyed Greek wine and saw lots of Rhodes. What a beautiful island. Of all the Greek islands we visited (5 of them), this was our favorite. There is lots to do on the island, from a day of snorkeling and sailing to visiting Lindos to eating at some great spots! If we ever return to Rhodes, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Fabulous beautiful house

Everything about the property was true and even better- a lovely house in the perfect location for beach and local shops. The house was gorgeous inside- rooms spacious and clean - loads is space- we loved having breakfast on the veranda and lazing by the pool The kitchen had everything you could possibly need- Tia and Maria left fruit , coffee, tea and all the necessary condiments I can’t recommend this place enough- we didn’t want to leave Thank you Tia, Maria and your family for the lovely gift and for letting us stay in your beautiful home Xx

Villa Katrin is probably the best accomodatiion,we have stayed in . Our hosts were always available , yet as everything so perfect we didn’t need to bother them . Villa was in an excellent position, being a short walk from beach, restaurants and next door to supermarket. Rhodes was 15 mins short taxi ride away . Wonderful holiday , wonderful hosts, we would not hesitate to return .

Comfortable Base to Explore Rhodes

Very comfortable home conveniently located between the airport and Rhodes City. The owner, Tia, and her family were lovely and very welcoming. The pool area provides a very nice place to decompress and cool off after a day exploring the island. A grocery store and a few decent restaurants are located within easy walking distrance.
