La Cantada was the perfect place to stay. Located in a perfect spot in Old Corfu Town, you are literally close to everything you could imagine, including the port, bars and restaurants, the old fort, the new one and a myriad of shops among the laneways.
Our arrival and communication with Lina was superb! It was fast, efficient and she was most welcoming.
Upon entering our apartment, we were amazed at its beauty and we were welcomed with Corfiot sweets, biscuits, milk, jams, butter, fresh fruit, wine and large bottles of water in the fridge. There were plenty of bags for our rubbish, and washing tablets provided for clothes washing. They even had the aircon on for our arrival which was really thoughtful.
The apartment was immaculately clean. The bed linen was clean, ironed and there were many beautifully plump and comfortable pillows on the bed. Various sized towels and slippers folded neatly at the bottom of our beds was a delight to see. Such attention to the comforts of home was very much appreciated.
If you are looking for a home away from home, and that is how this place is described, then really, you can’t go wrong staying here.
