Hotel increible
Aplai dome es un hotel perfecto. Pudimos ver la puesta de sol desde la terraza de nuestra habitación. El personal es encantador, nos ayudó y nos recomendó las mejores playas y restaurantes.

Maravillosa estancia
Maravillosa estancia! ubicado en una localidad espectacular y turística pero con mucha tranquilidad. Las instalaciones espectaculares, sobre todo la piscina y buen desayuno. Lo mejor la amabilidad del servicio, nos facilitó mucho las cosas y le agradecemos mucho por ello. Solo nos arrepentimos de no haber pasado más tiempo allí. Merece la pena!

Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist 5 Minuten vom Zentrum von Oia entfernt, allerdings befindet sich die Unterkunft nicht im Trubel der ganzen Hotels mit Blick auf den Krater. Man hat dafür einen schönen Blick auf das Meer inklusive Sonnenuntergang vom Balkon und Pool aus. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

A Blend of Warmth and Shortcomings
Our stay at the Aplai Dome Hotel in Santorini was marked by the exceptional kindness of its staff, particularly Esperanza, who surprised us with her perfect Spanish. The breakfast team mirrored this warmth, further enhancing our stay. However, the room rate of $320 USD per night raised our expectations for amenities and services, some of which were unfortunately not met. Firstly, the absence of a luggage service was noticeable, leaving us to manage our luggage to our rooms. In-room, we noticed the lack of bedside reading lights, a standard amenity in many establishments. Additional inconveniences included the lack of complimentary beverages in the mini-fridge, and only one room key provided. Returning late, we found the need to send a WhatsApp message for someone to unlock the door, another minor yet noticeable inconvenience. While such elements might be overlooked in a budget accommodation, they are less acceptable in a higher-priced establishment, particularly one located in a tourist hotspot like Santorini. Hence, despite the warm hospitality extended by the commendable staff, our overall rating for Aplai Dome is a measured three stars. While the hotel has a strong foundation in its attentive and friendly staff, there are evident areas of improvement that need to be addressed to justify the current room rates and enhance the overall guest experience.

Amazing 3 Night Stay!
We stayed for 3 nights at Aplai Dome and had an amazing time! The location is great for exploring Oia, but peaceful as it’s set back from the main street. The hotel is clean, with a lovely bar and pool area (which you can watch the sunset from undisturbed)! We’d definitely return in the future!

Accueillant et Très bien placé
Excellent séjour à Aplai Dome. Joli hôtel 3 étoiles offrant de très belles prestations. Nous avons été accueillis avec douceur et gentillesse et il nous a été donné plusieurs idées, types de restaurants... Notre suite était merveilleuse et bien équipé. Juste pour compléter quelques cintres de plus, miroir de courtoisie dans la salle de bain. Serviettes changées tous les jours et présence de serviettes pour la piscine. Literie confortable. Le bar de l'hôtel offre de jolies prestations pour prendre un verre, ou prendre un repas . Nous y avons déjeuner plusieurs fois et les salades étaient excellentes. Le petit déjeuner est agréable, et diversifié. Il manquerait peut-être le choix entre 2 jus de fruits. La piscine à débordement est belle et offre une magnifique vue sur la mer. Et pour finir parking permettant le stationnement extérieur . Nous avons réellement apprécié au sein de cet hôtel très bien tenu.

The whole staff was amazing! Ijtimate service to the guests. They even opened breakfast a bit earlier to accomodate us in our exploration plans. Location is off the main Oia centrr which makes for a peaceful stay. Would return anytime.

Only 10 apartments, pretty new and well maintained. Has a parking lot and breakfast is really good, lots of variety. This hotel is located 10 mins walk from the sunset view location in Oia, as well to restaurants, etc. And it gives you the option of staying away from the crowds if you want privacy and quiet. Staff is amazing! Even though reception desk is not open 24/7, staff is accessible via WhatsApp and show up quickly.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was nothing but terrific. This hotel has a beautiful view of the sea and the pool was great as well. Also, the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had so far on our trip. Highly recommend! 👍👍

A fabulous small hotel where nothing is too much trouble. From the welcoming to the departure we felt at home. Rooms are spotless, very nice pool. One minor constructive comment is our hot tub could be a smidge warmer I am only adding this comment to show some balance I couldn't recommend this place enough - much nicer than being crammed on the caldera

We had a great stay. Anywhere else this might have been on the expensive side for our budget, but for Santorini it was great value for money compared to the prices for other hotels close to Oia. We had the basic room, which was fresh and had everything we needed. The location is great, just a short walk from the busy streets of Oia. It’s a small hotel, so it was relaxing and never crowded even on the days when the pool area was full. A great tip is to visit Oia early in the morning when it is still quiet, then get back to the lovely breakfast and the pool. We went to watch the (crazy busy) sunset views in Oia one night, but enjoyed the much less crowded sunset views from the hotel on the rest of our evenings. Another great thing is the relatively ok prices for a fresh and tasty lunch! (Again compared to Santorini in general) Friendly staff as well. Recommend their shuttle service to the airport. Would recommend :)

Santorini - Aplai Dome 5 🌟 stars
We stayed here 5 nights on our way to Milos. From check in time with Charis #1 to the free breakfast with Charis #2 and the rest of the team. Our time at Aplai Dome was just excellent. Dinner reservations help? -check, recommendations on beaches to go? -check, airport/port transfers? (without the overcharge) -check. The suites were exceptioal, the daily housekeeping was superb (performed by a lovely couple) and I highly recommend getting the room with the spa. Sunsets will never be the same. If you find yourself hungry at night the staff is more than willing to help you and call a local restaurant that will deliver the food directly to your room. Of course if you want something outside their food menu. Everything is a close walk 5-7 minutes on average. I do suggest getting a Quad ATV if you can - which can be delivered to the hotel. Overall our stay was 👏 fantastic and if you ever need anything reach out to Stamatis and he or anyone else in the team will make sure you are taken care to your satisfaction.

Great hotel
Aplai Dome is a great hotel for a stay in Santorini. It is well located in Oia, a short walk from the main town but far enough away to be quiet. The staff are excellent (in particular Charis, who was extremely helpful) and there is a good breakfast in the morning. There is a lovely pool from which you can see the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend if you are staying in Santorini.

Quieter stay in Oia
There are definitely more luxurious places to stay on Santorini but this works for those not wanting to pay those prices. While they do not have the stereotypical views of other properties on Oia, I much preferred this location with it being an easy walking distance to Oia without the crowds of Oia. It was easy for us to walk to enjoy the typical sunsets and restaurants of Oia without having to wake up or be disturbed by the huge crowds that flock there during the day and at sunset. Rooms were comfortable, staff friendly, and small pool area perfect for relaxing. The honeymoon suite had a hot tub which was small and not worth the extra. All the rooms have an outdoor sitting area.

We really enjoyed Aplai Dome and getting know the owners who were so accommodating and friendly! The layout of the hotel was wonderful. If there is any negative, it would be that you need to walk up the main road, which can be hazardous and a bit crazy, to the city center area.part of the way , you need to share the narrow road with cars and other part has a bumpy sidewalk which was not very conducive to heels or wedges.

Vue du coucher du soleil depuis la chambre
Nous avons réservé une « maisonnette », en pensant qu’il y a plus de place. Mais en fait, c’est la disposition de la partie du séjour qui n’est pas très bien faite. Nous avons du mal à ranger nos vêtements et nos objets. Le coffre fort est situé trop haut et il est trop petit pour utiliser. Du coup, je ne trouve pas le confort d’un hôtel de ce niveau. Sinon, la vue de l’hôtel est vraiment un point fort, on peut rester tranquillement à l’hôtel pour le coucher du soleil. Le petit déjeuner est bien servi sur la terrasse de bar, très varié, et le personnel est très sympathique.
