Fantastic

Stayed at Beechside before. Wonderful location. Very clean. Everything you need. Never want to go home. Already booked more stays. Lovely views on the dunes. Dogs love the garden and settle in very quickly. Highly recommend

Clean house and secure garden

We found Beachside Cottage more than adequate for our needs and came up to our expectations although the kitchen is undeniably small. The garden was totally secure which meant we could relax whilst our 2 dogs went outside. What we would have found helpful would have been short notes on how to live in the cottage. The oven dials had been worn off through cleaning and as it was not the same model as ours at home it took a few attempts to fire it up, similarly the stove top.Once mastered it worked well. Ditto the microwave. We didnt even try to work the washing machine or dishwasher. The complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, fudge, PROSECCO was very generous and much enjoyed. The village and location is great and we made use of the Fisherman's Return pub for a few meals and also hearty breakfasts. The sea is only a couple of hundred metres away, but if you have any joint problems, ( I have a knee replacement,) the slither down to the beach is quite steep and a bit concerning. For most people it would be of no consequence at all, but we found we went to the beach at Caister on Sea to exercise the dogs, more often for ease of access.All in all it was a lovely stay and good value. Thank you.

Beachside bliss

Very comfortable, clean holiday home with a lovely secure dog friendly garden which leads directly on to the sand dunes.The property itself had everything you could possibly need, great parking, excellent shower, comfy beds and so much more.The location could not be better, beach, chip shop, cafe, local store and pub all within easy walking distance.We really enjoyed our stay at Beachside cottage and would recommend it highly.

So close to the sea, out of the back gate and onto the dunes. A comfortable and well kitted out property. I think the cleanliness of the accommodation could be better, it’s looking a little grubby unnecessarily. Skirting boards could do with a wipe, black mould on the bathroom ceiling and cobwebs in various corners. A used tissue under a bed from a previous visitor. Despite this, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as Winterton Cottages

It was clean and tidy thankyou for the welcome pack a pint of milk would of been nice has we travelled a long way very heavy hoover i tripped tryi g to get it out of the cupboard which caused me injry to my right side ribs and muscles please a heavy sign on the hoover Also did my partner leave some clothes in a bag hanging on the inside door in the master bedroom if so can you please send them on to me can you please let me know and i will pay the postage yours truly Gill and brian.

Excellent holiday cottage

Location and layout of cottage excellent. Super garden and gate to dunes and beach. Communication with owner Samantha excellent, nothing too much trouble. We met the owner's maintenance man, Mark who was also extremely helpful. Great weather, great village, great holiday. Our 4th visit here over 12 years and still love it and hope to return again. Our dog had a great break too!

Perfection

Our second stay at Beachside, and it is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, the cottage is lovely, the garden beautiful, and you just have to walk through the gate at the bottom of the garden and you are on the sand dunes

Best beach & dunes holiday with 4 dogs

The property was perfectly located for us with our 4 Cocker Spaniels.The property had everything that we need except an outside tap & hose but we had the wherewithal with trug and watering can to minimise sand entering the property.We were blessed with fantastic weather & only used the car once to find a swimming pool. The local supermarket was well stocked and a great fish & chip shop.. it is our second visit to Winterton on Sea & will definitely be back sometime.

Beautiful beach cottage

The perfect cottage, right next to the beach. We could not find any faults at all, just perfect. They really have thought of everything. We stay in a lot of properties in Norfolk and beyond and this is a 10/10.We have booked again for July, so that tells you everything.

Fantastic

Wonderful chalet. Had a great Christmas stay in Beachside Cottage. Big dog safe garden overlooking the dunes. Lovely layout of house. Nice and warm and cosy. Cooked our Christmas dinner in the kitchen. Brought the table in from the conservatory to eat it. Bedroom are a lovely size too. Winterton is very dog friendly. Have stayed in Winterton many times. Would stay again in this chalet

AMAZING!!

The location of this cottage is simply the best and offers everything you could need for a get away from it all break! Great size secure garden for our dog to sniff round and the canopy/porch at the back door where we could leave sandy boots was really handy! The gate onto the dunes was just fantastic and is nowhere near a public thoroughfare so we didn’t see a soul all week from the garden or view from the lounge and conservatory! Great for both beech walks or walks along the beautiful grassy dunes if you occasionally want a sandy free dog! We were greeted by a beautiful selection of goodies by our host and had a very comfortable and cosy stay! We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Fantastic Holiday
