The grass wasn't cut and as we pulled up the grass and weeds were growing so much they were growing through the steps to walk into the small house. Not just a little bit but kind of ridiculous. As we walked in, there were so many dead beetles (dead bugs) on the ground and cobwebs all over, our first impression had us questioning our stay for the entire week. There were so many holes throughout the entire screened in porch, there seemed to be more bugs in the screened in porch than outside. The house was a perfect size for us. The bedroom was so small, the bed barely seemed to fit. You had to turn sideways to walk around the bed. My wife and I ended up sleeping on the futon half the time because we felt claustrophobic in the bedroom. The wall unit a/c units helped keep the rooms cold but the filters looked so dirty they seemed to be more like germ spreaders than a/c units. The packing tape they used around the wall units and to hold several things together throughout the house wasn't that visually appealing. We bought wood at the local store but the grass around the fire pit was so tall, we ended up not even using the fire pit which was disappointing as well. We stayed for the week but after the first night, we wished we would have just stayed in a hotel that would have had nicer and cleaner amenities at the same price. Unfortunately, you have to pay in advance so we couldn't just check out. This was our first Vrbo experience and don't think we will use it again.
